When I was about 10, I was eating dinner with two of my friends. One of them choaked. Someone comments it went down the wrong way. I said "Is there really more than one way it can go down?" They just cracked up laughing at my question and said it was just an expression and even varified it with an adult! They made me feel real stupid! When I was older I realized there really are two ways it could go down.

When I was younger I had a superman suit and thought it gave me flight and super strength, so one day I was rough housing with my dad and sisiters and I jumped of the couch landed on my dad and made him fall (unfortunatly on me)......ya I had to get a neck brace, but at least I took him down with me!!

One year in my elementry school (in the U.S.A.) there was a girl in my class from a Canadian family visiting there for the year. Now some people may act "disgusted" or say "Oooo" or "Gross!" at any joke or other statement that referred to poop or pooping. But of all people I ever knew to act that way, this Canadian girl really "took the cake". So extreme was her "disgusted" reaction to any reference to poop or pooping that it made me think that Canadians must not poop, and that was why she had the luxury of finding any allusion to it so "gross".

When I was a schoolgirl, the teacher always would ask if someone needed "to be excused" as a way of asking if anyone needed to go to the bathroom. I got used to the phrase as meaning that. Then one day I caused quite a laugh on the playground when the teacher saw I was having some sort of difficulty and asked wahat was wrong. I replied, "I stepped in a place where a dog got excused."

I used to think that we remembered things because our brain took a picture every time we blinked. So when we were out in the car and I saw something I wanted to remember, I'd make sure to blink really hard. This was when I was about 3.

I ate that old Ninja Turtles cereal that they used to sell, and one day, my feces was green. (This is disgusting, I know. Hahahha.) So I thought that I was on my way to becoming a Ninja Turtle and named myself "Michaelangelo the second." I got my Mum to buy me a costume and everything.

LOL.

I used to believe that making myself go cross-eyed was the same as X-ray vision, and that I had a special ability that no one else had.

I used to belive that when I thought something (like going to Disneyland) my parents would know about it and take me or buy me whatever I thought of.
Gradually, as time passed, I noticed that my parents would not do whatever I think of.

I used to believe that if you drink one drink after another, you would get diarrhea.
Such as drinking juice and then soda.

My sister and i used to believe that when you ate, it began to fill up your whole body, starting at your feet. we used to point to our necks and say "i'm full up to here!"

I just watched spiderman, and i was drinking soda, and i saw a little spider in the soda. So i started Bawling thinking webs were gonna come out of my hands and i would turn into spiderman.

When I was a young child I thought the only way to lose weight was to pee and poop. So in the store I would l tell my mother that she does not have to go on Weight Watchers, she can just go to the bathroom.(don't we all wish thats the way we lose weight. Right?)

There's really no polite way to say this, but for the longest time, I never knew that boys...well, fart. At home, it was always just me and my mom, and of course it never came up at school.

Then when I was ten, my step-brother came along. He wasn't shy by any means, and he left me astounded, frankly.

Even now, four years later, the idea of both sexes farting still seems so weird, I still can't bring myself to do it in front of him. I always have to trot off to the bathroom, cheeks firmly squeezed....

When I was little I used to believe that if you pee'd in the
road you would get a sty in your eye! To this day when
somone gets a sty I asked them if they pee'd in the road.. I get alot of wierd looks lol

I used to belief that to kiss like adults do, all you had to do was give a long peck while swaying your head sideways.

That was my interpretation of french kissing!

I used to think that shadows felt pain, and sent it to their "owner".

I "discovered" this when I proudly exclaimed to my Grandpa, "I just stepped on you shadow!" He played along with it, and pretended like it hurt him really badly. I wouldn't step on anyones shadow for the longest time, in fear of hurting them

When I was younger, I got the Chicken Pocks, I was about 5. My sister poured grape juice on my face, she thought it was funny, I didn't want to get up and wash it off my face, becasue I didn't feel well, well this was a time when feather pillows were popular, so I layed my head on my feather pillow, and my face got covered in feather, I didn't have a pillow case becuase my sister was bowering mine, (She had goton sick all over it)
I woke up and my mom came in, and she said "You have featehrs all over your face!"
I started freaking because I thought I was turning into a chicken

A friend of mine used to believe that girls' farts somehow smelled "sweet, like flowers." I guess he took the whole "sugar and spice" thing a bit too literally. Long story short, he got me to fart in his face to prove it and was swiftly proven wrong.

The really strange thing? We were 14 at the time.
