I used to believe that my poo was a little bit of my brain and every time i pooped some of my brain would come out. When I was 7 my Dad was teaching my to recite poetry. I had memorized the poem and was about o recite it when i excused myself to go to the bathroom. I spent a lot of time in there and when I came out, I found i had forgotten some of the poem. I thought i had pooped out my memory and started taking notes of EVERYTHING so I wouldn't forget anything when I pooped.

I used to think when boys pooed and peed at the same time, they would have to stand very close to the part where the flusher is so they don't spill.

I was always very close to my grandmother. She was very proper...always a lady. One day out of nowhere she passed gas...I went running into the kitchen, because I couldn't believe what I'd heard, and she looked at me and simply said "Did you see that barking spider?" From that point on I would say that at home to my parents because I believed there truly were barking spiders!

I still believe that some people can read minds, so I try to be careful what I think around them. For the record, I'm twelve. :)

I used to believe…

When i was around 7 years old my mom told me that we couldn't go to my uncle's house because he was sick. I asked if he was throwing up. (i was deathly afraid of throwing up when i was little) and my mom replied "yah, out his butt" she meant he had the diarrhea, but i took it literally and up until a few years ago i actually thought you could throw up out of your butt.

hall of fame

I used to think that the noises my stomach were from little people in my stomach talking to eachother.

I used to believe…

One day my husband, toddler and I were taking a walk and my son was walking about 10 feet ahead of us when he tripped (on what I dont' know) and fell. Before I could even see if he was ok, or laugh, or do anything the little bugger ran up to me and kicked me in the shin!
Apparantley he figured I was the one who tripped him, from a yard away, lol!

I used to believe…

When my boyfriend was young he wasn't feeling well one day. He kept whining until his mom finally asked him what was wrong.
He told her that he couldn't see because there was something in his ear.
It wasn't a mistake, he actually believed it!

I have insomnia and when I do not get enough sleep, I feel sick. My sister and I were both under the impression that this was called "African Sleeping Sickness."

I used to believe…

When I was 4 me and my sister, mom and cousin and I were watching The Lion King and after eating so much candy and sweets i fell asleep then my sister out 2 pieces of candy in my bellybutton then when i woke up i saw that there was pices of candy in my bellybutton and i was so shocked that i thought that the candy in my tummy was coming out from eating it so much i thought it was coming out. So then on i never eat too much food lol till i ate alot of food at the age 10 lol.But it was a good joke my sister did to me. now im 16. (i was skinny btw) :P lol

i used to believe that boys when they peed, so no one could see their "thing" always carried a sheet with them to wrap around the urinal(like a stall), so no one could see them. cuz u know how other people can see your penis in the mens room

I used to believe…

when i was about 10 i believed i had pshycic powers.... i know i don't but my friends say i do because i guess something right or because i take the words right out of their mouth...... i'm 14 and sometimes i still wonder...

I used to think that my furniture, epecially my book case, gave me nightmares when I didn't act the way they wanted me to. I would always have to sleep facing up, without my ears touching the pillow, and the bedroom door always had to be open just the right amount. My stuffed dragon, however, ate bad dreams, so he could protect me.

I used to believe…

Sometimes, as I lay in bed trying to fall asleep, a small scratching sound would keep me awake. The strange part about it was that it seemed to come from the inside of the pillow.
My first thought was that it was a small spider trapped inside the pillow and was scratching with one of its little spider legs. I'd punch the pillow, trying to move it way from my ear area. This sometimes worked and I'd go to sleep.
I was slightly nervous with having a scratching spider inside my pillow, but then realized that it didn't make sense. A bug wouldn't survive the occasional washing or trip through the dryer. I also noticed the scratching occurred on other pillows. For a time, I gave up trying to figure it out and was just content that punching the pillow enough times would quiet the scratching.
Later I realized I was hearing my own heartbeat. The shiny fabric of some pillow covers was reflecting the sound.

I used to believe…

When I was a child I believed I could cause something to happen to someone just by touching them and thinking it.

I used to believe…

My cousin once told my sister that if you wore jelly shoes for a whole week with out taking them off, then she would be able to walk on wall and ceilings. It drove my mom nuts, because she did not understand why my sister insisted on wearing them to bed.

I used to believe…

For the longest time, I never thought farting was rude or anything. It's just as natural as breathing; how was I supposed to know doing it in public was socially frowned upon?

At home, my sister and I would fart freely, whenever we felt the need, and my parents (though somewhat more inhibited) weren't especially shy, either. I only learned otherwise after one particularly embarassing incident in grade school. ]_]

I always believed as a child your stomach was a big hand which squeezed your food out through your bum....

I used to think that my body was filled with really tiny workers; sort of like Oompa-Loompas. They controlled everything I did. I thought they helped me poop when I needed to go. So they pushed it, when it was too hard I even whispered, "Work harder, I need help!" They also painted pictures of my memories and thumbtacked or sticky-tacked them in the walls of my brain.

Kinda weird...
