when i was a little boy, i remember thinking i was super magic. i used to have this black ghost-busters hat that i believed could turn 5 cent peices into like 25 lollies. the hat had a flap [neck protector] on the back, and my mother even sewed a pouch inside it so i could put the 5 cents in. i used to close the flap over the hat, and say abracadabra and everything. the then *BAM* there was the lollies. it was so exciting, until one day, it didn't work, and it hasnt worked since. but i still believe i was magic.

i used to believe that if i held a garbage bag over my head and jumped of the couch i would float aross the room. i tried and ended up landing on my face.

I could never sleep with my back to the wall because I thought that Marty Feldman was going to come through it and pull me out onto our roof. And if I slept facing the wall, a one eyed Big Bird would do the same thing. Something about the eyes...

My grandmother had these really ugly lamps that were sculpted busts and I used to think that if I looked at them long enough, they would throw up cherries and watermelon all over the room and I would get yelled at for vomiting.

To this day, I still get creeped out if someone has to throw up, because I still think my grandmother is going to yell at me.

Whenever I got sick, I thought that God had put a curse on me for misbehaving, so I have always tried to be on my best behaviour thinking that this will prevent me from falling ill. But no matter how hard I tried to behave correctly, I still kept in becoming sick occasionally.

My mom used to say, "If you sit on the pot too long, a worm willo grow in your stomach!" To this day, I am not sure if that's true or not. I'm 26.

I knew I NEVER wanted the doctor to use the blood pressure cuff on me. I was SURE it contained rows of sharp, tiny needles on the other side. Why ELSE would it be used for BLOOD?

My parents always told me my white blood cells were little army men inside of me fighting off the germs. I thought they were literally tiny plastic army men in my viens, but wondered why they didnt hurt when they poked me (the plastic toys were kinda pointy)

When I was in the first grade, a kid told me that if you don't wash your hands after using the restroom, you'll die from the germs on your hands. Up untill the third grade I always held my penis with my shit tail while urinating.

I used to believe…

When I was a child, I believed that everything had to be even or something terrible would happen - what I did with one hand had to be done with the other, if I chewed food on one side of my mouth, I had to chew it on the other aswell. It was a burden having to remember what foot I started walking on all the time.

I was told that if I sat on hot concrete, like a sidewalk, that it would be very difficult to take a poop. I think my grandmother told me that.

My brother used to be scared to poop in the potty. He thought that he was pooping out his bones.

I used to believe that animals were trying to talk to me, so I would talk to them. I would tell people what their pets were saying (Fido says he likes you, she wants more toys, he really likes sunny weather), completely serious. Of course, I had seen the Pet Psychic, so I was probably trying to be like her.

So now my family makes fun of me by calling me the Pet Pyscho.
