I used to believe…

When I was 4 -5 years I used to believe that if I drank milk I'll become a cow.

I used to think that I could eat a lot of food at Thanksgiving, but my stomach size would show my limit. I thought that if I got too full, my belly would reach the table and my belly button would pop out!

when I was a kid I did everything with both hands: even when I could do something with one hand, I should do it over with my other hand. this came from the believe that if I only used my dominant hand, the other would feel wronged and do something to me....no idea where I got this from

When I was about 5 or 6 I used to believe that my mother never slept. I thought she was a superwoman. I used to think this because when I went to bed at night, she stayed up late doing housework tasks like ironing, cooking or sewing. And when I got up in the morning, she was already up with breakfast ready on the table. That was crazy! I remember thinking, 'how does she do it?' Also she never rested on the sofa, so I was worried about her. I was always wondering why my father and I slept every night but she didn't. Finally I realized the truth; she did lots of things during the day but she did sleep at night.

i used to believe that if you pulled a funny face and the wind changed you would be stuck like it forever, my dad always told me this when i was younger hahah

When I was about 6 I was told you can't go swimming after eating a meal because you'll get a cramp and drown. This didn't scare me. Instead I wondered how anyone could drown when all they had to do was just keep swallowing the water until they could stand again.

Until my mom told me the story of when she had the chicken pox on Christmas day when she was about six, I used to believe that it was physically impossible to get sick on a holiday, or on your birthday, because those days had magical powers.

When I was about 11 I told my 9 year old step sister at the time that if she ate enough otter pop Popsicles that her vocal chords would freeze and shed lose her voice and not have to go to school the next day. My sister then proceeded to eat a good 15-20 before my mom found out what I had said.

I don't think that this is possible but... I believe that I still have this ability until now. I have this weird ability. For example, if I imagine something, it will never happen. I mean like... 2 years ago, when my teacher found out that I was cheating my friend homework, I imagine or think that she will angry at me but, it was different. Instead of yelling at me, she smiled to me and said, "Next time try to do it by yourself, okay?" and I nodded and smiled happily! So, if I have any problems, I will imagine that bad things will happen at me and it will never happen in my lifetime! Lol
