I used to believe that a prince would come at night and take me to his castle and we would get married so I made sure I always brushed my teeth and hair before I went to bed and fell asleep in a pretty pose.

When I was a kid I believed the secure "self storage" businesses, that occasionally we drove past was a place where people went to be stored asleep in suspended animation, and awakened at a later date.

i think around age 5 or so, i remember one night i was awake in my bed and saw a skeleton standing there, at the foot of my bed. i imediatly thought he would steal my feet. this obviously is a dream. though i feel very odd when i think about it. now im 13 and for some odd reason i need to wear socks to bed or i cant sleep.... hmm?

When I was little, I thought that my dreams were partially in the realm of reality. When my dreams ended with me falling, I would wake up and feel the sensation of falling into my bed.

before i went to sleep i would come up with a battle plan for my numerous stuffed animals. I would talk to them each individualy and put them by my head or back or wherever. They fought the bad guys trying to kill me from the evil side of the bed all night. So in the morning i would thank them and tell them to get some rest.

When I was a kid my dad would tell me that if I would take a nap there would be food ready for me when I woke up. Now I was really young, so I thought that people really only slept for as long as it feels--5 or 6 seconds--so when I would wake up and my dad would have lunch all ready I thought that he must have super powers, like food vision or freezing time.

When I was very young (under three) I had what today can only be explained as being a dream. In it, I saw these shadows of people walking on the moon, and my dad pointed to them, telling me they were the people on the moon. I thought it was real, and for a long time I believed I actually saw people on the moon and didn't understand why my dad couldn't remember.

I used to believe that in my sleep I wrote, scripted, directed and starred in my own dreams. I seriously believed that I was the best dream director in the world! I also believed that in the future there would be a way for me to record and then project my dreams onto a cinema screen!

When I was about seven I thought that when you sleep your bed would fly you to a place called dream land. I remember thinking that when I was falling asleep I could feel my bed flying

I used to believed that when I went to sleep my heart took a rest too, and didn't pump at all while I slept.

I believed that dreaming involved sinking through my mattress and into an ever-changing fantasy world under my bed. This is due to one dream I vividly remembered as a child that began with a 3rd-person perspective of my body falling through my bed and into another world. While awake, I would often search under my bed for this world.

Before falling asleep, when I heard my blood pounding in my ears as I lay my head on my pillow, I thought it was the sound of an army of nightmares walking under my pillow.

When I was little I used to think that night-time air was acidic so I always used to hide unders my covers, hoping that it wouldn't burn me. I was a weird kid!
