This isn't about me but about my littlw brother. The neighborhood kids and I always liked to try new stuff. Well being from Louisiana we have quite a few hurricanes and one day our gang was sitting in my room and we decided to jump off the roof with umbrellas. We would actually hover down because the winds were so strong and now my little brother wants me to teach him to fly.
My brother and I used to believe that we could move objects with our minds, but only light objects.
One time we were at my dad's house (my parents divorced when I was 7 or 8) and we had a balloon, so we sat it on the bed and took turns "levitating" it. One of us would stand on the bed, with the balloon in the middle of us (no helium), put both our hands on the sides of our heads, and close our eyes really tight, while the other one would sit on the other side of the bed and watch it float. It moved because we had the fan on, but we still believed we had done it.
My friend and I used to believe that we could gain special powers by pressing our bellybuttons and wishing.
i used to believe that i could move object with my eyes, so once in a moving car, i thought i could move a cherrio. SO i stared and stared and then the car bumped and the cherrio moved and i thought i moved it!
I was a faster runner than most of the other grade school kids.
When I would run my side would get sharp pains.
I decided this was caused by one of my ribs that had grown downward and attached itself to my leg bone.
When asked I would explain that my condition was like being "bionic" but actually better.
I always thought that I was invincable. I tought I could fly and that I had x-ray vision. And I thought we all had some "mutant" power like my mom always knew what I was up to, etc. I just figured with time, you're powers develop more, like yoda's advise in a jedi. I now know that none of that is possible
I used to think that I could take our ping pong paddles and use them to fly. I would spend hours in the front yard flapping my arms and trying to take off.
I used to believe that I could move things with my mind. I'd sit for hours trying to break glasses or anything really. It never worked though
I used to watch caroons so much when I was younger and afterwards for a while I thought I had thier superpowers!Well oen night after watchign superman I went on the table and proceeded to fly ( IREALLY THOUGHT IT WOULD WORK) and lets just say I cam to a hard conclusion and a broken arm.
Also in link with this I thought that my cast was given to me to use as a weapon since I was injured.( I had no idea it was cuz of my bone.Lets just say I looked alittle crazy thne lol
Wen i waz 3-5 i used 2 belive dat my elbow was by mucules and that i had the biggest ones ever and i could beat up superman.
When I was in grade shcool, I thought I was a werewolf. If anyone bugged me, I would snarl at them. I thought that I would transform into the fifteen-foot-tall evil beast if anyone got me angry enough. This idea changed drastically when I got beat up in 5th grade.
When i was four and my brother was three, we both thought we could fly. i used to give him flying lessons because i was older and we would jump off the sofa and i'd be like "you almost got it! flap harder, flap harder!"

Once I convinced myself that I could make anything I wanted happen with the power of my mind if I just said, "I want

I used to beleave that I had the superpower to see through small objects if I held them close and looked at them crosseyed. I was very disapointed when I learned that this was only because one eye was looking at the object while the other looked passed it, making the object seem transparent to me.
When I dreamed of flying, I would wake up and be so sure that it really happened, and I would get so mad at my mom when she said "it was just a dream."

My cousin and I, used to beleive we could fly. We would take turns jumping off the couch to see who "flew" longest. I also belevied that if I stared straight into the sun I could make day turn to night, I was really upset when I found out that it was just me going temporarily blind.
One time when I was about 6, I wrote a letter to the tooth fairy asking her to give me the ability to fly. I really believed that she got the letter so I tried to fly and then i fell and my toe started bleeding. :(
top belief!
When I was little, I used to believe that if I bit somebody, and made them bleed, that they would turn into another me! Just like werewolves, only they would turn into a wereme. Then I bit my brother and nothing happened. I must say I was genuinely disappointed.
when i was little i thought that i could freeze time, i would flick my fingeres outward and my dad would stop and i would hide his hat then unfreeze him with another fingerflick. Then when i tried to freeze time when my dad wasnt watching me and it didnt work and now i realise how stupit i must have looked, but i watch charmed and it is still alive in my head.

When I was about four or five, I thought you could fly (oh, what an unusual belief) if you held an umbrella above your head and jumped off of something, like Mary Poppins. So one day I climbed up to the highest part of the playground, opened my umbrella, and...*thud.* Ouch. Thank god I did it when nobody was around - although the reason I waited until I was alone was because if I managed it I didn't want anyone else to discover the "secret."
