He's still tetchy about it today.

I also was told by my older brother that if you unscrewed your belly button your butt would fall. I remember thinking that was stupid, but as my brother had told me that, it had to be true!

I'm from Spain, so I guess it's a worldwide belief...

My aunt told me when I was really little that if I played with my bellybutton too much my butt would fall off.

I sobbed for days and wouldn't so much as TOUCH my bellybutton. I was scared to touch it for years.

i used to play with my belly button until it bled my mother then told me if i kept doing it my butt would fall off. needless to say i stopped playing with it!
