One time when I was on a family trip we were in the car and we pulled out in front of a cop car. My brother told me that there were eyes in the back of my head and that the police man was onto me and was going to take me to jail because of the eyes in the back of my head. I whole-heartedly believed him and cried the rest of the car ride. Let's say it was a memorable trip.
When I was younger, I used to believe that everyone who had glasses had a different perscription, and it was very rare to find someone with the same perscription.
Then I found out I just had really bad eyes and that's why I couldn't see out of my friends' glasses.
I used to believe that if you couldn't see someone then they couldn't see you. If I didn't want someone to see me I'd close my eyes - boo it didn't work!
I used to believe that if I closed my eyes and couldn't see anyone, then they couldn't see me either. I could never figure out why I was always found first when playing Hide and Seek!
As long as I can remember my left eye has been very bad (20-200) and when I
was little, I use to think I could see through my hand. Putting may hand over my eye (right), I could still see a fuzzy image,-- my conclusion, a person couldn't expect to see a normal image looking throught your own hand.
If i cover my eyes and cant see anyone then they cant see me cause i cant see them!
i was terribly afraid of eyes.
my older brother used to tell me that staring too long at the mirror would cause your eyes to pop out!
to this day.. i prefer not to stare at the mirror lolz
i used to think i was blind because i couldnt see cooties
I used to think that, if I stared at the sun, I wouldn't have to squint when I got older, so I wouldn't buy wrinkle creams for my face. I thought that eye doctors just wanted you to think that starring at the sun would damage your eyes.
When I was in Kindergarden I had a Friend who was Korean, and one time I asked him "Charles, why are your eyes so slanted?" and he whispered "Cause Im Korean" Now, I had never heard the word Korean before, and he was whispering, so I thought he was saying GREEN. and I was so confused, because he didnt look green to me! :-)
When I was little I had a habit of blinking my eyes alot. My dad told me if I don't stop blinking my eyes would fall off. I told my classmate about this and they say that would never happen. but I still believe what my dad said so I stopped blinking my eyes alot.
Tell me I was not the ONLY kid who BELIEVED that If I made a face, it would freeze that way forever.... And along with that was the crossing of the eyes.....
When I was in the first grade I was told that wearing rubber galoshes in school was bad for your eyesight, and I believed it. (I'm still not sure it isn't true.)
i used to believe that if u ate carrots that u could see in t he dark really good and that they made ur eyes really pretty. so i ate alot of carrots..and maybe it works who knows:)
I was told that if you crossed your eyes and the wind change your eyes would stay crossed!
When I was little I thought that the portrait of Mona Lisa and her eyes would follow me around wherever I went!
When I was young, I thought that those patterns and colors you see when you rub your eyes were called hippies. Probably had to do with those phsycedelic patterns being associated with them.
I used to believe that my mom seriously had eyes in the back of her head and could read my mind. So when she got mad at me and yelled, I would think something bad about her and stick my tongue out, and then I would be all "Oops!"
i used to belive that my eyes had unbreakable glass on them!`
I used to believe that the colour of someones eyes told you about their personality.
I used to think people with brown eyes were mean, people with blues kind and people with green eyes smart.
I was such a dumb kid, though my theory has proven pretty correct in the area where i live. Strange.....
