My cousin used to have a pet named Pamster the Hamster- it was a vicious little beast that bit everyone's fingers. One day her mother heard her calling "Look, Mommy! Pamster's letting me pet her!" And it certainly was... lying very, very quietly...

When my sister was younger she believed that all animals had the right to be warm, this included chickens. However, chickens were outside animals, and could not be let inside the house.
One particular day when it was extra windy, my sister decided that it was the perfect time to "warm" up our poor chicken. So she stood on the outside wall of our laundry room and held the chicken up to the heat vent. Slowly but surely the chicken took in more carbon monoxide fumes than one could handle at any given time.
That's one chicken that didn't take off running after it lost its head...
I used to believe that meat was obtained from animals who died a natural death.
When I attended a funeral with my family and was told about cremation I assumed that the person was being cooked for eating. I was not able to eat meat for some time after as I was always concerned that I was potentially eating a human.

When talking to me about A.I.D.S., my mother told me that she knew a woman who had died of A.I.D.S...When I asked her how that woman got the disease in the first place, my mother told me that "She had been with many men", and from then on I was afraid of being around too many males in one place at one time, for fear of getting A.I.D.S.

When I was little, my dad was a traveling salesman and I would go with him alot. He would tell me that the big stacks of hay in a farmers field was where the Indians were buried! I passed this one on to my own kids!
I remember watching a TV programme where a guy was murdered by receiving 30 "blows" to the head. I thought this meant someone actually breathed on him heavily 30 times - so I tested it on my brother!!
I remember being in second grade and listening to my mom and dad as they taked about a neighbor who had recently passed away from a "hard" attack. I went on for two years praying that I would never have a hard attack and die. In fourth grade I wrote a paper in my English class about a relative who had passed away from such an attack. My English teacher was a wonderful older woman who would never make fun of her students but she couldn't contain her chuckles as she read my paper. Needless to say she straightened me out that day. Now I hope I will never die of a "heart" attack!

My father told me at one time that Richard Dean Anderson, my childhood hero from MacGyver had died in real life. I was so upset until recent years when I saw Stargate. Happy as a squirrel since then.
i was watching a moive when i was about 9 when a baddie got 'STD' and was going to die. I asked my dad how someone got STD and he said that it was when people do naughty things. Up until about 16 i thought that if you were naughty you would catch STD and die.

When I was in grade 4, the boys across the table told me that the people in ancient horror movies, like the origional Dracula ect... they actually had too be killed because they didnt have special effects, so if you wanted too be in a movie like that they gave your family a ton of money after you'd died. Anyway, when i was in grade 8, we had too do a progect type thing on the first movies, and i put in this information, i still dont know if it's true, i doubt it

once, when i was younger, my grandparents got into a motorcycle accident. when the phone rang, i didnt think anything of it. after that day, and for a few years afterwards, i thought if i didn't think "please don't let it be something bad" between the first and second rings of the phone, then either I or someone I knew was gonna die on the spot. this belief was especially frightening when i forgot to say it and i found my mother sleeping. i thought she was dead.

When i was about 5 i thaught that the "afterlife" was lying in ur coffin all day daydreaming & waiting for visitors to come & c u.
(hmmm. i wonder if i will go and haunt someone today?)
I had a pet worm that I found outside. I didn't know that worms had to stay moist, so I played with it drying it out. Then it just broke in half, and I tried to tape it back together but it didn't work. All the brown stuff leaked out. So I put it in a piece of paper and buried it in my backyard. I thought that after I buried it, a bird dug the body up and ate the remainds. I felt so horrible. I cried for so long. I still think a bird ate it because the paper isn't there.
I used to hear my parents talking about euthanasia issues, and I couldn't figure out what the Youth in Asia had to do with people dying, but I figured I should know and was too embarassed to ask.
