I used to believe…

When I was aged around 4 or 5 I had a dog that was completely insane. Well, one day he dissapeared. My Mom and Dad told me and my sister that they had taken him to a farm somewhere. I remeber asking my parents if they knew how Bruce (Crazy dog) was doing. They usually said they didn't know. Not until a few weeks ago did I find out that my Dad took him and shot him. I wasn't really devastaded, mainly because Bruce was toatlly crazy. Sad thing is, my parents decided to wait until I was 15 to tell me this...

I used to believe…

when i was about 6 or so one of my brothers older freind told me that if i inhaled fumes from a motorcycle i will soon turn into a lepurchaun.And i thought i had gotten some fumes into my lungs so i got scared and told my brothers freind that i had inhaled some fumes.He said the only way to slow down the procces was to breath as least as i can and drink lots of water.So i held my breath and ran home takeing as least breaths as i could on my way.Then i drank about two glasses of water and told my mom and she told me dont worry.I was so relevied!

I used to REALLY believe that all dogs went to heaven. So, in that case, it meant all cats went to hell. I always cried for my aunts cats at night for their soon to come eternal damnation... I was an odd child...

my sister told me that if you inhaled repeatedly really quickly that you would die. i was very afraid to do so for many years after haha

I used to belive that when you died you would just go to sleep for a really long time.

When I was about 4 or 5 I had a dog and a hamster. One day hamster just dissapeard. I was sure, that he escaped from the cage and stucked behind bed or someathing... few months later I was alone at house and i was absolutely sure (!), that I saw my dog swallowing a hamster. I tried to make dog vomit hamster and screaming to dog to give the hamster back. Yesterday my parents told my that the hamster just died. So dog swallowing hamster had to be somedind of halucination... But I believed that I really saw it for a very very long time. (sorry for english)

when my great-grandma died my mum told me to kiss her goodbye. then when we went back outside there was a rainbow in the sky. my mum said that it was the staircase that dead people used to get to heaven and that my great-grandma was walking up it right then.

My dad once told my sister and I when we were fighting that if you went to bed mad at someone, one of you might not wake up, i.e. die. I believed this for years, and he denies ever telling me this to this day!

When I was little, I heard the word "euthanasia" as "youth in asia" (presumably due to the war in southeast asia being on TV all the time), and didn't understand what the controversy was over Vietnamese kids.

i heard that when people died they watched over you! so i used to not want to get undressed or anything like that cuz i thought my dead g-pa would b watching me or something!

Thiz is probably really weird, but I always thought that when people died in the movies that they REALLY died. I thought they hired actors that were willing to die. I never understood why anyone would of done that.

i used to believe that just before u died that u were told by who ever was looking after u also died and me mum said to me when i was about 6 do you want 2 come 2 grandads and help me take care of him? and i said to her no coz i dont feal like diying just yet and she said 2 me u arent going 2 die your just going to help me look after your grandad and ever sine then i have been so imbarrised and realisied im a knobhead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to believe that when people died, they would be picked up by their arms and legs and thrown into their grave. I told my mother about this, and she replied, "No! You don't throw dead people around like they were a sack of potatoes!"

When you're going into kindergarten, you have to get a shot, or else they won't let you in. Mind you, I was that shy girl that whenever I'd see someone new, i'd hide behind my mom. So my mom kept teling me that I was going to get my shot, I was thinking that someone was going to shoot me with a gun. So when we got in there, I ran under the table, and the fat nurse took 2 hours to get me out...but it worked...

why as a child i thought and believed this, but i believed i would die at the age of 28....
i am now 29, but when i was 28 i did lose my dad and a pregnancy....so, i guess parts of me died.

when my great gran died i was told that she would always be watching me in every thing i did so when i went ot bed i thought she was watchin me sleep so i started having nightmares because i thought i could see her. then my dog died and i thought i could see her with my great gran
