I used to believe that when u put to sleep a dog or something u would take it to the vet and they would give it a shot and it would fall into a deep sleep and it would wake up once i die.

Up until I was about seven or eight years old, if one of the family pets died, my parents would never tell me what happened, but would say that the animal went to live on a farm. So, I believed that there were farms that cats and dogs would go to live along with the other farm animals.

as a kid I was once given the job of looking after the school goldfish at half term. unfortunately two of them died so my mum feely guilty replaced them with 3 new ones. when I told the teacher what happened she said that's all right, we used to have one - now we've got seven. for several years I thought she meant they had babies.

I once owned a black bunny rabbit. It was A hot July afternoon and I decided that the bunny shouldn't be kept in the corner of the porch for shade since the corner was filled with spider webs. I set my bunny in the sun...and forgot about it.

I was so sad when I realized that the bunny had died of dehydration and I considered myself a murderer until i was about 6.

On the morning I started my period I found my guenea pig dying on the floor at the bottom of his cage outside . I put him in front of the fire but he died anyway . I wondered for years if I had put some kind of hormonal curse on him.

When I was little, we had a dog named Sebastian who had hemophelia. Well, one day we wer playing with him, and the next he was gone. My dad and mom told me that he had died and gone to Heaven. At the time I didn't know that he had a disease. So, what really happened was he tripped in a hole while chasing after a stick, and it jabbed into his throat. And he bled to death.

when i was little, (sad as it may seem)my best friend was my cat.
one day on our way to school she got hit by a car, ran into a brick wall and ran under the house. when we came home i went looking for her.. i found her lying all stiff on the floor.

my big brother said "no.. she's not dead.. she's just sleeping.." it was nice of him to try but the fact that the cat's eyes were open and flys were in them didn't help much.. how dumb do people think little kids are? lol

A few years ago my dog ran off late at night and my parents went looking for her. I went to bed and wasnt worried because she was obedience trained and wouldnt go far. About 3 months later I noticed I hadnt been seeing her around my house. I wasnt particularly worried because I was really busy with school and she was an outside dog so I though she was outside most of the time I just didnt see her. Then a week later I realized she want at my house or inside my house, so I checked to see if she was at my moms dog grooming/boarding business because sometimes my mom takes her there when she goes to work.....she wasnt there either!! I went up to my mom and asked her where our dog was and she said, "What are you talking about, she's dead?" I then realized that all the times I thought she was either at my moms shop or outside when I happened to be home she really just wasnt anywhere. My mom told me she had been hit by a car that night, but I had fallen asleep so they didnt tell me and when I woke up she wasnt home so they figured I knew what had happenedand jsut didnt want to talk. I felt so bad because I had been busy with school and ignoring her!!! :(

I thought that oil was the remains of dead dinosaurs. Actually, since I have never really found out where oil comes from, I remain unconvinced that this is not so.
