For some odd reason, when I was a kid, I used to believe that if I died, I would still see the world through someone else's eyes, maybe like reincarnation, I don't know. But that ended one day when someone asked me if I can see the world through someone else's eyes when I'm asleep. Guess not. heh.
I used to believe that when i died it was like a super mario game... I had a certain number of lives.

Until I was about 12 years old or so, I thought Heaven was on the Moon. My grandfather had died when I was young and whenever I asked Granny where he was, she would point to the Moon. Needless to say, seeing Neil Armstrong step foot on "Heaven" was disconcerting.
I use to think that dead people were really dead if worms and a little creep thing crawled on them and they don't say ahhhhhh!
When I was little, I overheard my mother and grandmother talking about my great grandmother who was dying of cancer and was jaundiced and I remember them talking about how yellow her skin was. From then on, I thought that if you colored your skin with a yellow highlighter or marker, you would get cancer and die. I still get a little freaked out if I get some on my hand. Kids associate the wierdest things.
when my uncle died a couple of days ago i thought he had cancer but he hanged himself
I used to beleive that if you point at a graveyard, it would point back!!(whatever that meant)
I used to think that every one in the world was in a big-big-big room and you would tell your story and say like all the little details like i bought this and i stole that and the i thought that at the end, when you die it would be manditory to say "The End"

when I was little I thought that when you died they removed your head, hence why they called them "dead BODIES". I always pictured a big freezer full of heads, or shelves and shelves of heads in jars, each one carefully labelled.
When I was little I went to my Aunts house for a visit. She had a set of steps paved with smooth tiles that led to the basement. As she led me down the steps she told me to be careful because the steps were a little slippery and you could fall and hurt yourself or even die. I started to look around everywhere and then asked her where all the dead people were. The best part was her answer: "You don't just leave them lying around like that!"

After thinking about it hard, my sister, aged about 6, asked, "Mummy, if people die standing up, can they use them again in shop windows?"
I would ask why the people in the movie were just laying there, eyes wide, but not blinking, and they were really heavy and hard for other people to move, and they wouldn't talk either...
"Sleeping, hun. Like the racoons that were out by the garage. Sleeping, with open eyes."
When i was little my mom told me that when people died they turned to dust. So when i played under the bed and saw dust i thought it was dead people.
