I was about 8 years old. We were visiting my grandma and her boyfriend. I overheard him say to my dad that he had not had a drink in over 10 years. I thought he meant that he hadn't had anything to drink at all!! I thought "wow, I would be so thirsty!"

I wouldn't ever eat bananas that were bruised. I believed that while the bananas were growing in the jungle, monkeys would open them up, take a bite, and then put them back on the tree. I called these bruises monkey spots, and i still refuse to eat a bruised banana.

i used to think that chocolate mile came from brown cows and that (normal) milk comes from the white and black spotted cows. But if the black and white cows fell over when the cow tippers came, the cow's colors would get mixed up and they could only make chocolate milk now.
