I used to beleive that eggs were actually poop from chickens, and that eating it would make you throw up.

i used to believe that if i ate a chocolate moose and went to bed that at 12 o clock i would turn into a hippo. my sister told me that that would happen. i later found out it she was lying.

Until i was about ten, i neverate a gusher cuz i wasn't sure wether or not my head would become a fruit. I'm still not comfterable around them and have never had one.

I always thought that smarties made you smart, so if the teacher gave themp to us at school, I'd eat them quickly so I did good in case we had a pop quiz. I actually still belive it today.

when i was 5 yrs old i accidentlly ate a water-melon seed. i was scared, i asked my mom what would happen if i ate a water-melon seed(i didn't tell her that i did ate it).my mom told me that the seed would be planted in my stomach and a water-melon tree would start growing and it will give fruits which would hang out from my ears, nose, mouth and my belly button and soon i would turn into a tree.i started panicking and i tried to vomit so that the seed comes out but it did not. then later the whole day i tried to avoid drinking water cause if water falls on the seed it would grow faster. and i ate a lot of food so that the seed would fall under the food and don't grow.then for sometime i checked my mouth to see if any plant was coming through there...i actually kept on believing it till i was 11 yrs old...

As a boy, I always thought that I wasn't allowed to eat Hershey's bars, since they were obviously intended for girls. It's right there in the name, after all: HER-SHE's bars. And the same went for "girled cheese sandwiches".

When I was six my sister told me Meat Pies were made from mashed up rats...to this day I can't eat a Meat Pie.

Until I was about 6, I was afraid to eat Gushers because I thought it would turn my head into a fruit and I would be stuck like that.

When I went over to my friends house one day, I saw him eating nearly three packs of them. I screamed, "Don't you realize that your head is gonna turn into a giant fruit?"
He screamed and for the rest of the day we were throwing out all the packs in the house and trying to reverse the head transformations in various ways.

When I was a kid I used to believe that gherkins were Frogs Willies, as my Dad told me that just because he used to like them at xmas and did not want us to eat them,

As children, myself AND my two brothers believed that mincemeat pie was made out of mice. The main character in the cartoon Klondike Cat would get mad at his nemesis Savior Faire and shout "I'll make mince meat outta that mouse!" We just couldn't figure out why our parents got all excited about eating mouse pie.

When I was about three my preschool teachers dyed the milk green for St. Patrick's day, and told us that it was the leprechauns. I was also, at this time, horrible afriad of any liquid the color green because the little "Mr. Yuck" sticker for posions was green. Well I thought that that meant poison was green and green meant poison. I wouldn't drink teh milk because i thought the leprechauns poisoned it.
I'm still afraid of leprechauns and green milk.

When I was little one of my favourite snacks was a plate of sliced apple and cheese, and my favourite pudding was blancmange. If she'd made one of these for me and then I changed my mind and didn't want it, my Mum would tell me it was the Queen's favourite food, and that always encouraged me to eat.

Before I went to school, my mum would tell me that spiders laid their eggs at the very end of the banana, and they were poisonous. Being so old, though, she was immune to the poison, so I should always give her the last bite of my banana!

First time I saw brown eggs I was worried but dad told me that they were laid by happy chicken. For ages I refused to eat eggs laid by "unhappy" chicken and I believed him up into my teenage years!
