When I was about 6 we'd just been taught how a tree grows. So when we were at dinner one day i watched dad eat a whole tomato-including the seeds. Then he downed it with a full glass of water. I ran screaming from the room-convinvced a tomato tree was about to grow inside him!

When I was 3 or 4 I thought I couldn't eat the Little Debbie Donut Sticks because they had coffee on the front. I wasn't allowed to drink coffee so I figured I couldn't eat the donut sticks because you had to eat them with coffee.

I believed that if you put something in a candy container, it became candy. Upon finding a empty Tic Tac bottle on the ground I filled it with dirt. I gave it to my little sister telling her it was candy. She ate it, but told me that it still tasted like dirt. I was dissapointed.
When you open a fresh can of soda the carbonation rises out in a steam-like gas. I asked my mom what it was and she must have said it was the carbonation, but I went on for the rest of my life thinking the caffine was coming out of it. (this was cleared up last week.)
My mom and dad didn't want me to drink caffine pop so I would try to suck it out (with my mouth) when it rose up so there wouldn't be any left in the can and, therefore, I wouldn't be drinking it.
I just ignored the "caffine" that rose out of the caffine-free popcans, as that defied my theory.
when i was younger, i went through a stage where i would only eat food that came out of our vegetable garden. in an attempt for me to eat meat, my parents would wrap meat pies in foil and bury them in the garden. i was none the wiser.

When I was younger, I was riding in a car with my grandparents. The ride was going to be long so they gave me an apple to eat. After I was finished with it I got bored and started picking the seeds out of the core. I placed the seeds on the seat next to me.
Well, then we went over a speedbump and it looked like the appleseeds were jumping. I screamed bloody murder because I thought they were mad at me for taking them out of the apple. O_o
Up until the age of six, I used to believe that if you ate a watermelon seed, the watermelon would grow inside you. Needless to say I convinced my mother to buy only seedless watermelons for quite some time. My sister, who is two years younger than me, believed this for some time too!
