I used to believe that eating stuff like smart food or simply samrt(milk) would make you smarter b/c it had smart in its name.

When I was little I went to this toy store and bought some mexican jumping beans. Well when you open those up they have little larvas in them, which look like caterpillars. So I asked my dad were there beans in ALL caterpillars? And he said yes. So until this day I do not eat beans of any kind.

when i was little i some1 told me that there was a specific number of black watermelon seeds you could swallow ( i think it was 3) after that you would choke and die.

I moved to the USA when I was a kid and had to learn english on my own. I didn't understand much about what was going on around me. Lunch time was hell because I was on my own. I knew what a jelly fish was, but I didn't know that 'jelly' by itself meant something. I thought for months that peanut butter and jelly sandwiches served at the school cafeteria were actually peanut butter and jelly fish sandwiches. Needless to say I brought my own lunch on these days.

i heard just like everybody else that if you eat seeds then a watermelon would grow inside of you. but whenever i ate the seeds nothing happened and, needless to say, i was very dissapointed.

My brother used to tell me that refried beans came from letting cows eat the beans and then scraping it out of the cows stomach and canning it. They had to kill the cows to get the beans out. Weird, I know.

I used to believe that the middle of Cadbury's Cream Eggs was a real baby chick and used to cry when i saw them in shops!

When I was little I would never eat Gushers. You know those gummy juice bites that were sometimes sour. Well on the commercial all the kids that ate them, there heads would turn into the tipe of fruit that the gusher was. At lunch everyday i was offered gushers, i never ate them because i figured I wouldnt be able to be in school anymore. So one lunch my friend dared me to try one, so i did. They were really yummy. But after that (mind over matter) i got a stomach ache and went home sick that day. I never ate a gusher again till i was 10, it was the "cool" thing to do.

When I was about 2 my cousin who was about 9 told me that if I ate the pointy ends of french fries, I would choke on them and die instantly. I now know that isn't true after a humiliating incident and swallowing one without biting off the end first and told everyone I was dying and to call 911. I still can't break the habit of breaking off the ends of the fries. Man I love my cousin.

When I was about 3 my cousin, about 5, told me that if I ate the dharp ends on french fries, they would choke me and I would die. I believed that until I was about 8. Now I am in my teens and I know that isn't true but I can't break the habit of pulling off the sharp ends. This can really cause a kid to be hungry when you eat at McDonalds.

My bother told me that if you eat watermelon seeds then a watermelon grew in your stomach and he said his friend had one and it grew so big it exploded

I can remember telling my dad that when i was "grown up" i could eat nuts, to me "grown up" was about 6years old, as i'd need my teeth to be strong and in my head, that was when that happened!
I tried one walnut and I hated it. :) i guess being grown up doesn't mean you automatically like nuts.
