When I was 5 we were at an IHOP. I was stuck on the concept of money for food and asked my mother about it. She said "We give the man money and he gives us Pancakes"
So in my head I saw us giving the man a quarter and him turning it into a pancake.
When I was a baby I was fed cow's milk because apparently I wouldn't drink my mother's milk. My older brother and sister had told me that you became siblings by drinking the milk from the same person and therefore they had me convinced I was related to cows. Each time I saw one, I remember wondering if it was my sister.

When I was small, I used to believe that purple sweets were poisonous and I had to give them to my mum.
Guerss what mums favourite flavour of sweet was?
When I was young, my aunt was trying to get me to eat my peas. You know the sweet peas that come in a can, the mushy, gross ones. Anyway, she told me that if I ate my peas they would stack one on top of the other and make me tall. I still can't eat peas to this day, because the very thought of it just grossed me out and ruined them for me forever.
I used to believe…
remember this one dont swallow your gum or it will stay in your stomach for 7 yrs.
i used 2 think that u needed 2 hav 2 pieces of bubble gum 2 blow a duble bubble
When I was about 11years old, my science teacher told me that if you chewed gum it would give you stomach ulcers and I believed this for years afterwards. About a year ago a friend of mine (who happens to be a science teacher) offered me gum, when I told him about my belief, he said that I would have to chew gum for weeks, non-stop for it to cause an ulcer. However, although I now know the truth, I am still afraid to chew gum!
My mother would get us to spit out our gum before we went to bed at night by telling us if we insisted on chewing our gum in bed, it would turn into skeleton bones in our sleep! We all believed this and promptly spit it out!
I used to mistake Horseradish for "Dogradish"
I used to believe that eggs bought at the supermarket were chicken eggs that could still hatch. I used to hold them in my hands so they would warm up and hatch.
one of my friend's mother used to only buy diet coke, never regular coke. she had by the case, so there was always plenty. since there was no real soft drinks, when we hung out at his house we would drink her diet cokes. she didn't like us drinking them, so she told us that diet coke gave kids under 10 cancer. we never drank them again.
There was this one time when me and my sister were staring at a bottle of Diet Mountaindew on the table. Naturally, I went to grab it first but not until my older sister goes "You know, Diet Soda turns you into a skeleton if you're not fat." I was terrified and took a second glance at the Diet Mountaindew. Her little lie worked, unfortunately for me. I didn't drink any Diet drinks until I was I teen.
I never liked to eat the peel on apples, so I always asked my mother to cut it off for me. One day, when I went to visit my grandmother, she began cutting the peel off an apple she was about to eat. I remarked that I didn't like the peel either, to which she replied: "No, it's not good to eat, there's little bits of poop on it." I believed her for a long time until I closely inspected one and could find no traces of poop whatsoever.
I now eat the peel on the apples.

I used to believe that pickles were made from baby alligators. Why? Because my dad told me they were, because he thought it was funny.
While out shopping with my mom in the meat section of the supermarket, I would see packages of chicken with a sticker "B'LESS CHICKEN" on it. I didn't know that "B'LESS" actually stood for boneless chicken, and thought the priest went round blessing every piece of chicken so as to make it safe for our consumption. Ahh, those were the days.
