When I was a kid, I used to believe that a grilled cheese sandwich was actually called a "girl cheese" and that only girls could eat them. I used to get mad at my two older brothers because only me and my two sisters were allowed to eat them and they would have to choose something else.

When my cousin and I were elementary school age, she tried to convince me to stop eating McDonalds chicken nuggets because they were made out of pumpkin guts. I'm not really sure what pumpkin guts even are, but the thought of it scared me from chicken nuggets for a while.

When i was little I used to believe that food with faces on them could feel the pain of being eaten e.g. potato smileys, so when ever I got my favorite sweets (winnie the pooh gummies) I would apologise to each sweet for the pain I was about to put them through before a eat them but I would spare the piglets because piglet was my favourtive and I didn't want to hurt him.
I always thought that cereal characters were all real people. So I thought serial killers were people that went around killing Captain Crunch and Tony the Tiger.

Around the age of 4, after watching my family sprinkle salt on their food for almost every meal, I came to the conclusion that salt cooled your food down for you. It took a while for my mom to realize why I would pour heaps of salt on my food then sit back and wait.
