When I was younger my favorite food was fish sticks. Before I knew the anatomy of any living thing or even knew how to spell my own name I knew these tasty treats as fish dicks. I was never corrected growing up because when I said fish dicks it sounded almost the exact same as fish sticks. It wasn't until my mid to late teens until I realized I was saying it wrong. I actually remember looking in my moms freezer one day and thinking "oh my mom bought fish sticks... It must be the off brand!" Needless to say I do not care for fish STICKS as an adult :)

But I knew the trick to getting the poison out was to let them sit somewhere until they became dusty, then eat them with the dust still on there. My mom claims she found red skittles shoved everywhere around the house.

As a young girl, I had a small body, but a very large stomach and I loved eating watermelons. My grandpa loved to tease me and at one point told me that the reason I had such a big stomach was because I swallowed a watermelon seed and it grew inside my stomach. I was convinced I had a watermelon inside me for a while after that.

I used to believe…

My dad used to tell me that watermelons were dinosaur eggs and if i sat on them long enough they would hatch. I sat on it, and cried like a maniac when he went to cut it open.
