This one is actually about my father. As a boy, he thought that it was tradition to order the weirdest food whenever you went to a restaurant (there weren't many restaurants around where he lived back then and most of the few ones were fancy).

One time, he ordered lambs' brains and ox tongue, which he disliked. Another time, in a different restaurant, he ordered moose that still had the bullets in it (!), and in a third restaurant, he ordered venison, but when it was served, he was very disappointed and said, "But where are the antlers?!".

When I was a little girl I used to believe when we ate a cherry stone and then drank we had a cherrytree on our stomach.

Nine years ago, so I was 6 years old, I loved cherries so I ate a lot but one time when I played a game with my brother in the kitchen I ate a cherrystone. I was so afraid and stressful to died during the night. My brother was so bad with me because he said me “ Nina, you will have a cherrytree on your stomach” and “ You will become a cherry tomorrow”. I was so bad and I’m cried in my bed during 2 hours before sleeping. Finally my parents said that’s was a lie. The next day I didn’t have the skin red so I was happy.

Now when kid eat a cherrystone and my family say the same of my brother I smile because I lo longer believe this joke. The memories is funny now but it wasn’t funny and cool before.
