When I was a kid I remember hearing the recommendation to drink 8 glasses of water a day. For some reason I didn't get the "a day" part, so i thought i had to drink it all at once. That seemed impossible to me so I gave it a try one day, chugging water as quickly as I could, and got sick by about the second or third glass.

This belief has just been solved recently. I once believed that the ice cream cone was inedible. (That means not safe to eat.) It was because for a long time I have not seen anyone eat one, and never ate it in a cone! I became secretly horrified when i saw my brother eat the cone, but i didn't dare to warn him. It wasn't until I searched on the internet that the cones are made out of wafers, which are kind of like waffles. Oh nuts! They should advertise the cones as edible, so that kids like me will not get confused!

My brother used to believe that you can't eat veggies because they have bugs in it!!! He saw a bug eating spinach and the supermarket and got freaked out so much that he called for the nearest employee to whack the bug with the leek he had in his hand! He was 4 at that time!
