my brother told me that if you ate the back seeds from watermelon, that you would die becasuse a watermelon would grow in your stomach and explode. When I accidently ate one I went inside and cried, i was like 3 years old, when i woke up in the morning I figured he'd lied to me

Whenever I ate an orange seed I would cry and cry because I believed that an orange tree would grow out of my mouth from my stomach. I was all the more scared because orange trees have spiky branches. My mum said that if I was a good boy, the seed would die, needless to say, I was at my best behaviour until I believed the seed had died.

When I was a little one, my freinds used to say that if I swallow seeds of fruits, it will grow into a plant and then a tree, and come out bursting my skull. Even now if I swallow seeds accidentally, I think of it.

My uncle Son used to told me that seeds I swallowed can grow into a tree through my belly. And if I do not clean myself frequently, it can generate enough fertilizer to become a real big tree, bearing fruit.

My mum used to tell me that if I accidentally swallowed an apple pip or cherry stone, that a tree would grow out of my ears. Only a couple of years ago, I realised why I got a horrible feeling of dread whenever I ate a pip!!

I must have been about three when my grandad used to tell me that if I ate the apple core and pips I'd have an apple tree grow out of my stoumach, and I would poop roots and get stuck in the loo! To this day I still won't eat apple cores but I encourage my daughter to eat it for the nutritional value.

My neighbor died of stomach cancer, but it was described to me at the age of 5 or 6 as "something growing inside of her." Thus, I envisioned cancer as a plant that kept growing inside of you until it killed you.

From then on, I was very careful about eating watermellon, apples, or anything else that might put a seed into my stomach and cause a plant to grow!

If I ever ate an apple as a girl I would never dare eat a pip as I believed an apple tree would grow in my tummy and eventually kill me. I still cannot swallow pips.

My sister tood me that if I ate sunflower seeds they would grow inside me. I used to have night terrors about giant flowers growing out of my eyes and mouth. Suprisingly I get on well with my sister despite her mental torture.
