When I was four, my mom told me not to eat the black seeds in watermelon. (I still don't know why!) But I knew that I accidentally swallowed one. I kept imagining that a watermelon vine was growing in my stomach. I was afraid to confront my mom, because I thought she would take me to the hospital and get an operation.
i used to think if i ate watermelon seeds my stomach would help the plant grow and i would poop out watermelons............... i got scared everytime i ate one but then i realized that that never happened

my mom used to tell me not to eat watermelon seeds or there would be a tree growing inside me. i believed her and didn't eat/swallow the seeds. it's a myth and i eat/swallow them all the time, now.

When I was little my mom told me not to eat the seeds of a watermelon cause it would grow in my stomach. Well I remember seeing a lady in the grocery store that was pregnaunt. I stared at her for awhile, then told my mom to look. She didn't know why I told her to look at this lady, until I whispered that she must have eaten a watermelon seed.

Because when i was little my grandpa had a big belly that looked like the shape of a watermelon and he told me that he got that by swallowing a black watermelon seed and a watermelon grew in his stomach.so ever since i always made sure that i didnt eat the black watermelon seeds
