When I was a little girl, I used to believe if I ate pips of watermelons, I would have a watermelon in my belly until I ate a lot and that nothing happened !

I used to believe that the white part on the watermelon (right after the pink part) was horribly poisonous. Everytime I ate watermelon I made sure to stay away from the white part!
I believed this up until last year when I was at a birthday party and my friends said I was crazy!

I used to believe that you got pregnant by eating watermelon seeds! I thought that the watermelon seed would go into your belly and grow into a watermelon and then turn into a baby! I was scared to death to eat watermelon and I still to this day do no eat the seeds!!!!!!!!!

My best friend thought that if you swallowed a watermellon seed, you'd grow a baby and that was how people became pregnant. She didn't eat watermellon for many years.

She also thought that moonbeams came out of her bellybutton at night.

My grandpa has a really big stomach, and when i was little he told me and my sister that if you swallowed watermelon seeds that one would grow in your tummy. Then he'd say that it's too big to be pooped out and it would stay in there for the rest of your life. After that, he used to pretend to swallow the seeds (but we believed him) and that's why we thought his stomach was so big.

When I was 4 my 5 year old brother told me if I swallowed a watermelon seed and then ate some
dirt that I could grow a watermelon in my stomach.
So natually I did it. I looked at my belly and could've
swore that it was growing. I got scared and told my
mother about it and she said that I would be OK and I couldn't grow a watermelon in my stomach.
But for a long time I still thought there might be one
growing in there.

I used to think that if I accidentally ate a watermelon seed, I would grow a watermelon in my stomach.. I guess that is what I thought had happened to all the pregnant women. Better believe I picked EVERY seed out of my watermelon!
