When I was little, like 3-4 years old, I thought that I had to marry my brother when I grew up. I was upset, because I didn't want to marry my brother, but I realized that there was nothing I could do about it, that was just the way things were, so I resigned myself to my fate.

I used to believe that a husband had to be 6 months to 1 year older than his wife. If it were less than 6 months, or more than one year, they couldn't get married. I was very confused one day when one of my friends told me that her dad was 9 years older than her mom.

My mom used to get me to behave by threatening to sell me 'to the gypsies'. After hearing this a few times, I thought I was the wise one and replied, 'oh yeah, how much did they give you for me then?' I used to believe that Grandmother's were not allowed to drive. This was due to the fact that neither on of my Grandmother's drove. I was always wondering when my mom was going to have to give up driving.
