Until only a few years ago (I'm 13) I used to think that whoever caught the bride's bouquet at the wedding reception would get married right after that. I thought it would never end & people would just keep getting married over and over. I was very confused when a married person caught the bouquet!

When I was little, my great-grandma told me that she had an invisible thinking-cap that only worked when she tugged on her ear, pressed her nose and made a weird noise. I asked her why I didn't have one, and she told me that mine was still growing on the back of my head. So for ages, every time I saw her, I'd ask her to check and see if my thinking-cap had gotten any bigger.

When my brother and I were young, our mother worked for Boeing and made ducts for planes. We always thought that she worked at bowling and made ducks. We would get angry because she wouldn't take us to see.

When I was young my 2 older sisters tried to convince me thar I was in love with Tony Blair. They told me over and over again that deep down I loved him, so eventually I believed them and kissed the TV whenever he came on saying I wanted to marry him.

when i was little, i was convinced by my mom that you could love up to the moon. so when we would argue over the phone when i would go to montana i would say "i love you to the moon so i win" and then i would hang up and expect to see hearts all the way up to the moon. i was kinda immature. ot her than that i was fairly logical and normal.

When I was about 5 or 6, I really admired those girls who worked at the hospital and wore red and white striped uniforms. I had seen that these girls were called candy stripers. Unfortunately I misprounced it. When people asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up, I would tell them proudly "candy stripper!"

when i was small,my friends and i had a discussion if we ever wanted to get married(the hate-boys stage).while two us didn't want to...this girl said she wanted to because she liked kids and wanted some of her own....and so the rest of us tried to convince her that you didn't have to marry and that when you grow big enough you will get pregnant on your own without any body's help.

When I was watching the TV show "SpongeBob Squarepants" Spongebob got fired from his job. His face swirled up and the then he had some sort of tempor tamtrum. So I thought that being "fired" meant that your face will swirl up, and you'll have a sort of seizure. I soon relized what getting "fired" meant.

My parents used to tell my sister and I that they were going to "sell us to the gypsies" if we did not be quiet in the car. I thought gypsies at the time were friends of Ronald McDonald (like hamburgler) and never understood why that was so threatening. Needless to say it didn't make us any more quiet.

Thank Mork and Mindy and my very eccentric father, but I was a firm believer that my mom (who was from another country) and my dad (because he said he was) were aliens. We heard the word alien a lot around the house, so it was quite possible that our parents were aliens and my dad hatched my mom. So I concluded that my mom came from the egg, like Mork. My dad hatched her and loved her, like Mindy loved Mork, and one day we were all going to be picked up while we were driving because the moon was always following us. So it had to be waiting for us to stop so it could pick us up. I mean obvious right?
