when i was three years old, and at home while my parents were on the work; i saw parliament assembly on tv, and thought, that my parents are probably there, working all day.
When I was younger, I didn't take into account that the world was round.... So I used to wonder, "If we're the first car stopped at this stop light, then who's the very first car, in the very front of all stoplights on all the highways?" I assumed it must have been the President. THAT must have been what his job was: to lead the cars around all day.
So, I grew up with the thought of Bill Clinton sitting in a little black sedan, the first car at the very first stoplight in the world.
I used to believe that "when i was an adult" in a past life i was a food taster!

When I was about 4 I used to think that my parents would drive off to work and sit at their desks and then pull a gear-shift like lever at their desks and that was all they did for 6 hours a day.
I used to think that my uncle was a secret agent because everytime he came round to our house when I lived in Glasgow he used to speak to me in a series of grunts and whistles and stuff rather then in english. He'd then sly-lee give me money.
I used to believe when I was child that what elder people can do in their office work, even we children can do better if we are given a chance.
This is something I shouldn't say,but I ought to.
Until I understood what busy phones were,when I heard that telephone lines were busy,I actually thought they were doing some kind of work and could not be talked to by anyone until they finished their shift.
When I was young, I wanted to be a taxi driver. I have no clue why, lol. But now I realized it isn't the most exciting job...
When I was younger, my sister had me convinced that Marilyn Monroe was Madonna's mother. (This was during her Dick Tracy days) I believed this for almost three years. When my sister finally told me the truth, I was DEVASTATED for quite a while.
I used to think I was going to be a zookeeper. Then I went on a field trip and saw how nasty the Ape House was.
When I was little my dad made me belive their was a midget in the box saying the numbers as you push them. He also led me to believe that he was especially trained to sound the same every time.

When I was young, my dad was a retiree of the Air Force and would get retirement checks. I used that think that ANY job somebody had would pay them monthly after they quit, depending on how long they had worked there.
When we would have firedrills the firemen would come tot he school to see how long it would take them to get there.I used to be afraid of them and when the teachers said d'ont be afraid of the nice firement. but itf its not a firemen just kick them were the sun dont shine!" I would soemtimes get them confused when i saw them cuz some of the firefighters woudlknt wear uniforms so i ended up kicking a firefighter!
When my sister was in first grade, all the kids had to write down what they wanted to be for the yearbook....my sister wanted to be an old farmer woman
My dad worked 3rd sh ift when I was growing up and he would get home usually before I had to go to school. Well we had a big window I used to stand at and wait for him to arrive...the window had nails all around it that we used to hold christmas lights. I believed that if I pulled all the nails out and put them back in he would be home before I was done. It worked EVERY time.
when i worked at papa johns as my first job, for awhile i thought you couldnt relax in the back of the store, like it was forbidden or something.
i used to think that customers were people who work behind counters until i learnt what they really were at drama club
I used to believe I could be happy at work, but even when I'm are doing something I love.. I still get bored with it! :(
