I used to believe there was a professor and a witch inside me, and they used to fight each other. I believed that when I went to the lavatory, it was the professor getting rid of his experiments and that when I was ill it was because the witch had beaten the professor... oh dear

LIke Johnboy, I used to belive that I was the last surviving human and that everyone else on the planet was an android put there by friendly aliens to keep me company.

I used to believe I was an experiment. That I was part machine, and got repaired and maintained during "sleep". It was a bit like a cross between RoboCop and The Truman Show until I was about 17 actually!

When he was 3 my son asked why there was fur on his leg when he cut himself. I made a glib remark about how he was a rabbit in a boy costume. Unfortunately it stuck, for years he thought he was really an alien bunny hiding in a boy suit. In fact he probably still does.

I used to believe that I was the only person alive because when others died I stayed here. I figured that if I died they would all end.

I uesd to believe that the world was just someones dream and that when they woke up we would all disappear.

I used to believe that I was the only person in the world capable of thought, and that everyone else were robots.

I used to believe…

That I was a robot and had lots of little people inside me, controlling my movements and that everyone I knew already knew about about it and that it was an experiment.

When I was 6 - on my 6th birthday - I got a cardboard circus & a Lego fire engine as my presents. I took my Lego fire engine to bed as it was the best - I was very scared of clowns as lots of children are. In the middle of the night the cardboard clown was glowing & grew & grew & came over and took my fire engine & put it on the shelf. I was crying "Dad - Dad" - and my Dad came into the room and said "it's alright son, it"s just a dream" - but the fire engine was on the shelf. I remember a few months later we moved & a plastic figure with 1 leg told me they wouldn't bother me again and once we moved to Harlow I never dreamed of circuses again.
