When i was in third grade, a girl in my class, along with her 'posse' (a group of mean girls) thought they were wearwolves and apparantly, the ying/yang symbol killed the wearwolves. so, me and my friends drew loads and gave them to them. they screamed and never lied again. :D

When I was about 5, I believed that I was a cat...I wouldn't eat my food unless it was put on the floor for me and I would invite my friends round to drink milk out of saucers on the floor...Also I used to try to sleep curled up and I even went through a stage of licking myself like a cat... It stopped once I got a real cat, for some reason.

After i seen toy story i belived that my toys actually spoke and stuff!

i also used to throw them of my bunbeds to see if they would change their expressions ... but then i grew up SADLY lloll

I used to think that I was the only real person on earth and everyone was like in a big play to make my life seem normal.
(I still think that random people passing me are hired to do that!)

My parents tell me that when I was quite young, I would always express my desire to go to china one day. They always found that quite odd, because there seemed to be no apparent reason for me to want to go there. They eventually figured out that the reason I wanted to go there was because all of my toys said "Made in China" on it. I figured that China was just mounds and mounds of toys.
And then... I grew up...

I have ADHD, and when I was in school it wasn't understood very well, thus I had trouble fitting in. I concluded that since I was obviously different, I was therefore an alien. I even told some of my (1st grade) classmates about "my planet" and they believed it!

— Glad to be different but not an alien (so far as I know)kids : i'm different

when i was a kid, i used to think that when i went to sleep, all of my toys would come alive and play without me.. i always tried to catch them in the act but never did... lol

I once saw an add for a doll and it said batteries not included, I told my mum about it and i told her it didn't need batteries...

i used to believe that when i left my room all my dolls and plush toys came to life! i would always wonder what they did and talked about

When I was a little kid, I recieved a wizard furby. It terrified me, because I thought it was going to come alive and destroy the apartment, or stalk me for the rest of my life or something. One day, we were going out, so I put the furby in a shoebox and covered it up with some kind of cloth, then I put it in a closet and locked it.
I was seriously afraid of furbies.

When a was little I saw that show "Are you Afriad of the Dark" about a girl who stayed in her room too long and turned into a doll.
Until the 2nd grade I wouldent stay in my own bedroom for more than an hour.

Like many kids, I thought my stuffed animals were alive and had feelings and moved around when I wasn't looking.
However, I took this a step further. I believed that stuffed animals in stores were inanimate, and when you bought them you had to bring them alive yourself. My friends and I had this "spell" that would bring our stuffed animals to life when we brought them home.
Also, I figured that the games I played with them formed their personalities. So if, in my game, two certain stuffies were sisters, or married, or if a certain one was an adventurer, or was snobby, or whatever, then that became reality. I remember being so afraid that these two stuffed dogs who were enemies in my games would tear each other apart at night.

I also thought that if you failed to love your stuffed animals or if you treated them badly, they would eventually return to their inanimate state. So I would make sure and include every stuffie I owned in my games, and give them all a kiss before bed, and tell them I loved them on a regular basis.

I use to believe that at night china dolls came alive and killed people with there shoe laces. I couldnt stay at any of my friends house if they had the dolls and I made loads of my friends give there dolls away because i didnt want them to die. I still dont like china dolls to this day.

The homewares shop IKEA used to have a play area. In this play area was a pen filled with plastic balls and you were supposed to run and jump and 'swim' in between them. I was so scared that when I went under and in between these balls that I would swallow the balls and choke. Hence....I never went in.
