I have two moments from Pokemon Silver.
When you meet your rival in the game, he says "My name is ???!", the ??? meaning you have to give him your own name. Later, Professor Elm asks what his name was. I actually thought that ??? WAS his name, so I entered "???"...
Also, I named my character Max. Later in the game, I found a max potion, and I was absolutely convinced that the potion that restores your pokemon to full health is always named after what you named your character.
Once I had a Chinese finger trap. I thought it was a powerful weapon, and I said I might be able to go and defeat the terrorists by trapping their fingers inside of it.
I used to believe that if you walked in tall grass, or dug deep enough, you would be able to find a Pokemon. My friends, and my brother would always meet at a park near our house and go out on adventures searching for Pokemons, but then I started realizing how silly it was...
when i was little i used to believe that baby dolls could talk and eat and everything, when you werent looking, and when you went to check on them they would run fast enough so you could never cach them.
I used to believe that all of the 'mind-readers' in the world were reading every one of my thought. I tried to catch them off guard by thinking 'I know you're listening!' and then looking around to see if anybody around me looked surprised.
When I was about 5 and my cousin was about 3, I thought in 3 years she would catch up with me, and she would be older than me. That thought made me scared and confused for a while.
When I was younger, I had a favorite stuffed dog I would take with me in the car. I use to put on puppet shows for the passing cars. They just marvaled at how talented I was for being able to move his head along with the music playing in the car!
When I was about seven or eight, my friend convinced me that she was Hermione Granger and I was Ginny Weasley. She told me I was actually twelve and my missing brothers did exist, they just hid when I looked at them ... she even wrote me a Hogwarts letter.
I still half-believed this at the age of eleven when I wrote a letter to Professor McGonagall asking if I could go to Hogwarts ...
me & my friend we were playing with a voo doo doll and we found a sethascope and herd a heartbeat from the voo doo so we tested all of the stuffed animals and a i dog 2 see if they had a heart beat and they did
so we researched voo doo dolls and stuffed anmials comming to life we still think its true!!!!!!!
I used to believe that other people only existed when I was around, in other words I was the only real person in the world, everyone else was around only to add background noise and situations.
I thought that people where just pretending to be like me when i was around them, that when i wasnt around, they all took on their true appearances of giant monsters, i was some kind of experiment. I was about 6
When i was about 6 years old i was sitting in my moms car. She took a long time to come out of the house so i read the side view mirrors on her car. For years i thought that "Objects in mirror are closer then they appear" meant that i could finally make mirrors now that i knew what the objects in them were.
When I was younger I used to believe that when I wasn't looking my toys would come to life and start talking to eachother and stuff but when I looked they would be in the same exact spot!
I used to believe that I'm the only one human, and everyone else is a part of the test my sunday school teachers called 'life'
So, I had a lot of trouble trusting others, because I thought everyone, even my parents, were all robots
When I was about eight, I had a stuffed rabbit named Cuddles. She was made out of some kind of plushy material with a velvet dress. I adored that rabbit, and I carried her around everywhere I went except school. After I read the story about the Velvetine Rabbit, I developed this belief that Cuddles was real. I would argue with anyone who said she was a toy. One day, I brought her to school for show and tell, and my so-called best friend made fun of me so bad because I thought Cuddles was real.
When I was little, I thought that my barbies lived their own life when I left the playroom and went to bed, because every morning they would be in different positions wearing different clothes, and different playsets were out. A few years later, when I was about eight, I thought our house was haunted by a little girl who never had barbies to play with. I found out just a little over a year ago that my sister would sneak in there after i went to bed to rearrange all of them just to freak me out.
Pokemon was my first video Game, so I was into Role Playing Games at an early age. Well once, I was playing a game called "Lunar: Silver Star Story" and one of the weapons was called a Bastard. [I learned later that it's a type of two handed sword.] When I saw it, I flipped out that the game had cursing in it [it was an E-rated game].
When I was little I used to believe that the world was full of robots and I was the only real human and when i would leave the room people would perform maintenance on each other and plot against me
i used to believe that my stuffed animals were alive at night, and that they had a party every time I went to sleep. I also didnt like it because I thought they talked about me when I was asleep....
