When i was little and was afraid of monsters coming in my room at night so i would tuck myself into bed with my stuffed animals covered under the blankets. When the mosters would come in my toys would jump out and surprise attack them kung fu-style!
(of course) in the morning they would be all over the floor, solidifying my belief.

I used to cut my doll's hair and stuffed animals' fur, believing that it would grow back...

Needless to say, it didn't.

I used to believe I was a dog on the inside and a human on the inside. Until I was about 5, I would crawl around on my hands and knees making barking noises. My grandma's dog was also my brother. I also used to think that I could change into a horse whenever I felt like it, so I used to prance around neighing.

When I was younger I used to get paranoid about a lot of things, usually fixating on one thing for a while until I found a new thing to be paranoid about. I remember going through a phase where I thought that everyone in the world was an alien except for me, and that they all had a human form.

These aliens didn't like being in their human form, so would revert to their alien form as soon as I was out of sight, but were always in their human form around me to keep their secret. After passing someone going round a corner I would backtrack to try and catch them reverting to their alien form, but they were always too quick for me, turning back into their human form JUST before I could catch them... that went on for a while, I was a very imaginative child!

Whe i was 8, i thought that the whole world was made for me and everybody else was just a robot in disguise and there were a bunch of people in a controll room, making everything happen in my life.

When I was around 6 or 7 I was playing with my older brother's plastic hook (the kind used for halloween costumes) and declared I was a hooker. My father and brother both chimed in that I was, indeed, not a hooker. The best part is that I have it taped on a casette tape, and still have it to this very day.

I was afraid to play some board games because when it said specific age groups that I wasn't in yet (for 10 and older) that some police would take me away.

When I was little, I said I was not going to play Milton-Bradley's "The Game of Life" because I actually believed that what you did in that game actually came true, like a fortune teller thing.

I so wanted for my baby dolls to come to life, I decided that if I made them warm, like real babies, then they would become real.
I dressed them in their warmest clothes and hugged them close to me, even taking them to bed.
Mum would try to take the dolls away and I would scream because in my mind she was killing them.

Once, when I was five, I went to Vietnam on vacation with my mom and 2 of my siblings while my dad and my other brother stayed home in America. Well, anyways we were at the beach one day when my favorite little raft thing floated away(someone had forgotten to take it in when we finished playing in the water). When I got back to America, my brother told me that he saw my little raft thing float by and I cried asking him why he hadn't swam out and saved it for me.

I used to think I was a bird. I thought this because every time my mom bought the squiggly kind of pasta, I pretended they were worms and I was eating them. So one day my mom made me the squiggly pasta for a snack and I went inot my sister's room and said "I'm eating worms!!" and she said "Only birds eat worms". I TOTALLY believed her and proceeded to put on my angel wings from last year's halloween costume and make a nest for myself in the corner of the couch.

When I was little, I used to play with play dough a lot. And I used to think that everything around me was made of play dough; my other toys, my bed, my dog, my mom and dad, etc. I thought that if I used the "right" colours to create a living creature, then they would become alive. For example, if I use green to make a frog then the frog would become a living frog.

My grandmother is a strong catholic and I was convinced I was going to be the "next" vigin mary. I thought I was pregnant all the time and would sit and cry. No one knew why. Until today! Haha!

i used to bileive i would never die. When i was a little girl, i thought life was this really great thing created for me, and everything happened to amuse or to make me sad.. i thought i wouldnt die like everybody else! Its a pretty strange and self-centered belief!
