when I was 3, my sister got a barbie phone. I liked it so much, I asked if I could play with it all the time. Sometimes she would let me, sometimes she wouldn't. I stole it on her birthday and brang it to my room. I pressed the number 4, (because it was my favorite number), and made a wish. I said " I wish I had a barbie phone for my 4 birthday. I actually belived it! I couldn't wait. Then on my 4 birthday, I got 2 barbie walkie talkies. I still wanted the phone more. From that day on, Ibelieved everyone got a barbie thing. Even boys! LOL!!!

i was a chubby kid and i made lots of friends but i always got hurt and i was very sensitive.i thought every one was pretending to me by friend. ialso thought that i was a witch and that i was alot older then i really was. i made my dreams com true in my imagination. i felt so left out.
I used to believe that my dolls, bearies(cuddly bears), tin soldiers and clowns get up at night when everyone was asleep to party n celebrate in the doll house...well i'll always make sure that they are still where i placed them the night before, when i get up the next morning to check on them...haha but i've ever since read little or even no more bedtime stories...lol so no more of all these fantasys...or so called make beliefs??? :>
I bought some Tinkerbell "fairy dust" at the Disney store when I was about 8 or 9. Of course it was just a bottle of glitter, but I thought that if I sprinkled it on myself, I would be able to fly, just like in the movie.
When I was younger, I'd watch commercials on television for toys, and I thought it was such a great thing that "batteries [were] sold separately" to the point that I would tell my parents that.
I used to believe that whenever i was away from home at school, my stuffed animals came to life and played games together until I got home, when they'd rush back to where I'd left them so I'd never know.
As a child of 8 I believed I was nothing but a brain in a tank of fluid and that the world and the people around me were actually artificial constructs being 'played' to me by aliens who wanted to monitor my reactions as an experiment. It really blew my mind 25 years later when I watched the Matrix. Maybe I was right or, more likely, maybe I never grew up.
I used to think that all my stuffed animals had feelings, and If I neglected one that it would try to kill me in my sleep, So everynight before I went to sleep I would spend a good 10 minutes organizing my 20-something toys and telling them that I loved them all equally and If one of them fell of the bed in the middle of the night that I would rescue it as soon as I woke up. Yeah I was dumb. Thanks alot Toy Story.

i used to think that toys (dolls) will look at you with there wee little eyes
I used to believe that my parents were aliens although I was human and they stole me from another family. I was always waiting in fear from the inevitable day when the mothership would come for them because I knew they would force me to go with them back to their planet.
I used to think all of my toys and stuffed animals were alive and had feelings, so I would tuck them all in at night and talk to them so they wouldn't be sad. I also wasn't able to sleep unless I thought they were all in a comfortable sleeping position... haha.
I used to believe that I was the only human God made... and that everybody else, like my family and friends, were just there to be a part of my life. But they weren't actually alive, just robots or something. And everything evolved around me and everybody knew what I was doing and thinking. Sometimes I still like to use my imagination and 'believe' that.
I used to strongly believe that toys were alive, like in Toy Story. And that everytime you blinked, they moved. So whenever I blinked I would do it quickly so I could try to catch them in action.
I used to believe that toys could talk and stuff like in toy story. So I would set my cowboy and indian plastic things up and walk out of my room. Go down the hall. Then run back and try to see them fight.
when i was little like 8 or 9 i used to belive that God made the world just for me and he made other people so i wouldnt be lonley. I always thought that everyone else was a robot and like if i went to walmart right after i left all of them would turn off.
i asked my mom if she was a robot and she laughed and said no. i didnt belive her....and still dont!

When I was alone in my room I used to talk to my dolls and try to get them to talk and then i would get fustrated and start screaming at them!
When I was a kid, I had this wierd belief that there was some kind of invisible line attatched to me, so however many times I turning one way, I would have to turn as many times the other way or else I'd be enwrapped.
One time during a sleepover at my house when I was about 8 or 9, my friends and I got a little crazy and began thinking that the Barbies were going to kill or hurt us. We locked the barbie in a room and went downstairs for a long time and when we came back up we were CONVINCED that the barbie has changed positions, so we tied some yarn around her neck and hung her from a doorknob. I then thought that Barbies could scream silently and that all her friends could hear her screaming when we hung her, so we had do the rest with all the other Barbies. After hanging them, we threw them in the outside garbage can so that if they came back to life, they wouldn't be able to ge us. We were kind of paranoid, sadistic little kids...and i guess we still sort of are in a way...
When i was about 5 and Toy Story had just come out in the cinemas, i had the pig toy that was from the film in a happy meal from mcdonalds. i used to put the pig in my room and when i went downstairs the pig would have moved to another part of my room as if coming to life like in the film! i thought this was actually happening and got really excited and then a few yrs later i found out my parents have moved it :P
before the truman show ever existed, when i was little i always thought i was just in a show. so when me an my family would go on trips in the car we'd pass hills and mountains that cover the side of the road so you can't see what lies behind them. i always thought set designers were switching the scenery to the place we were going to. And if we went on a plane, they had big set waiting for me.
