i thought toys and stuff animals were alive but they just held there breath and didnt blink till you were gone then they would all start talking and i thought they had to go to some school so they could learn how to go the whole day without blinking or moving at all, so i would walk out of the room with all my stuff animals on my bed then I would sneak in and hope to see them all moving ....
i also used to be very careful not to drop them or roll over on them cuz i thought it would hurt/kill them!!!

When I was young I had a stuffed animal fox that a carried around everywhere. I honestly blieved that it turned into a real fox and went out at night and came back in the morning. I knew this as a fact, so I must of drempt seeing this, I don't remember. But I knew I had to keep in a secret and not tell anyone.
One day, on a family trip to arizonia, we were in an airport and my dad asked me to put in under the x-ray thing, thinking it would be fun to give my favorite toy an x-ray. After seeing him filled with cotton, I was horrified, but for a very odd reason: As a very smart child, I knew that foxes eat sheep. And everyone knew sheep grew cotton. My good little fox had gone out and killed and eaten a whole bunch of sheep and was now stuffed with cotton! (Yeah, I thought cotton came from sheep) For a while after I remember not liking to be around it as much because I thought it was a killer.
I was relieved to later find out cotton comes from plants.

When I was 5, I saw a puppet show at school - I had no idea that they were puppets though, and so I believed they were real and wanted one to do things for me.
I always believed that some people could read my mind. I always felt guilty. Sometimes, when I thought someone was reading my mind, flashes of things I didn't want people to know would come into my head, and I'd always think whoever looked at me that moment 'would know.' I'm 15 now, and am still just a *little* paranoid that someone knows what I'm thinking...
When i was like 6 I thought that my lego's would come alive at night(or anytime no one was watching them)... and the only way you could catch them is with a hidden camera that they didn't know about... I didn't ever have a camera to prove my theory and to this day don't know if this is true or not... though it probebly is not...
When I was 5, my mom used to tell me that I couldn't become a ballerina when I grew up unless I ate my peas, as they acted like ball berings in my toes. I used to believe this quite strongly apparently, as a few years later, when my little sister had been signed up for ballet lessons, I told her the exact same thing!
When I went to sleep at night,as a 10 year old, I believed my dolls and stuffed animals would come alive at night and move around silently in my room as I slept. Because when I woke up, my dolly was in a different place than where I placed her the night before. (My mom probably moved her for some reason when she came to check on me before she went to bed.)
Before I thought that everything we did was because someone was doing it for us like we were dolls in a doll house being played with.I laugh when ever I think about it.
I live in the South of England, but when I was quite young I saw a sign for a bank, The Bank Of Scotland. For a long time I was convinced that I actually lived in Scotland, and the whole of the world was conspiring against me to make me think I lived in England, although I could never figure out why they would choose me, and why a big important bank would not bother to change their sign!
In kindergarten I was afraid to take home the class teddy bear because I thought it was carrying all the germs from the other kids in my class who had taken it home, and that I would get chicken pox from it.
I used to believe "cleaning" ment to put your toys and clothes in the garbage can. Would avoid "cleaning" at all costs, but when I had to, I carefully stack the least wanted toys and clothes into the garbage can, "hiding" the stuff I didn't want "cleaned". Needless to say I threw away a lot of my toys and clothes.
I used to believe that little , tiny people used to live in my plastic ride-on horse (the one on springs). I had to be very careful while riding it because I didn't want to upset their furniture.
I got it into my mind when I was about 7-8 that all grown ups could read my thoughts, I think it started with my dad always knowing whne I was pretending to sleep, this esculated into me trying not to think about anything naughty I´d been up to in fear of my parents finding out.
When i was about 10 i used to think that everyone else in the world was robots and i was the only human! strange i know but i still think this sometimes! like the film 'The Truman Show'
Ok, my brother had a Peewee Herman doll that he kept in his closet. Everytime I looked at the thing, its eyes followed mine everywhere I looked. Eventually, I thought that if I had looked at it for a long time, it would slowly get a knife or axe out, and kill me. I still hate dolls, now, and I'm 15 years old.

The summer after I turned eleven, I had recently read the Harry Potter books. The whole summer I waited for my letter from Hogwarts to come. ... It didn't.
I used to believe…
whenever i was younger, i had a large porcelin doll collection in my room. they were all set up on a dresser that was next to my bed. whenever i couldn't sleep at night, i would look at my porcelin dolls and i could swear their mouths were moving! i thought they were thinking of ways to kill me in my sleep, and after about a week of those damn dolls and their moving mouths, i packed up my dolls suddenly and took them to the attic, without even giving an explanation to my mom...
I used to have a HUMONGOUS collection of stuffed toys when i was younger. They were all lined up on rows and rows of shelves, perfectly placed sitting up so they could " see" what was going on. I used to believe that the toys would talk when i left the room or went to sleep. I remember one night i stayed up the whole night totally silent with one eye half open hoping they would begin talking and i would catch them and yell at them for not inviting me to there party. haha the only thing i ended up catching was a bad cold the next day from lack of sleep.

When she was little, my friend made a barbie doll explode by putting it in the microwave. She thought it would give the doll a tan.
I had a dream when I was like 5 that my barbies killed me by strangleing me so I gave my sister all my barbies the next... I didn't sleep in her room until she got rid of them and I still can't stand them!
