One day, when I was 13, my father told me it was him
who made the footprints with his boots.
I was frustrated but it was funny.

When I was a little boy, I used to believe that when my parents were taking my nose in their hands and put their thumb between their fingers to make me believe they had taken it, it was really my nose. It often made me cry because I was afraid of losing my nose.

I used to think that the reason my brother and I gave our stuffed animals REAL personalities was because we were the only people in the world who had stuffed animals that look like they're REALLY alive. I later found out that other people had the variety of more "alive-looking" stuffed and just didn't bother to give them real, fully formed personalities.

When I was 4 or 5, I found a jacket on the ground at the park. My mom told me not to touch it, as it doesn't belong to me. I believed, for years, that if you take another kid's stuff they left at the park without them knowing, you could get in big trouble and you would never be allowed at the park again. I also told all my friends that.

My parents said I could be anything I wanted to be, so I said i wanted to be an octopus. My parents said that means you can choose your job, not species. I then started screaming "But mommy, i want to become an octopus!" and my mom would say "No you can't, changing your species is not possible" and we argued about that alot. hehehehe

When the teacher would tell me on career day what i want to be, i would say "a meerkat!". I got disappointed when i never saw a real meerkat on career day, but it was fun.
