I used to think that all my toys and even the posters on the wall would come alive at night. I used to ask them to be nice and look after me while I slept.

one time when I was little, I was watching this show and they were explaining how to tell your left and right. They said that you just look at your hands and which ever one makes an L is your left hand (Your index finger and your thumb)We'll imagine my shock, when they both made an L, except I didn't realize that the L on my right hand was backwards. So I figured which ever "L" looked more like the letter L was the real one, even though they looked the same to me. I was AMAZED at how fast other people knew which one was the 'real one' For months I thought that I was just really stupid, and horrible at telling my left from right!

I used to think that those little troll dolls with the neon-colored hair were evil little monsters and that if you owned one that as soon as you put it away in your toybox,it would crawl out and come after you when you went to sleep. Needless to say, I threw away my troll doll.

i used to think i was God's special child ,something like a supergirl coz the light from the camera (flash) would stay in my eyes after the photo was taken.

I used to think that everyone in my family were really skeletons wearing human costumes and when I went out of the room they'd take off their people-suits and put them back on when I came back, and being afraid of skeletons I'd announce my arrival and give them enough time to get into their people-suits. I was afraid of getting older because I thought once I reached a certain age they'd tell me I also was a skeleton in a human costume.

when i was little i used to believe that my sisters porcelin dolls were going to come alive and crawl up my bed posts to come an attempt to kill me, the same applies to clowns and cute fluffy bunny rabbits. I've been paranoid since!

After seeing "A Toy Story" I believed toys were alive when we left the room. I watched what I said around them and never through a toy. I still get creeped out when a toy is faced towards me.

When I was 4 or 5 I believed that if I fell over when I was learning to ride my bicycle that it was never my fault. One time an airplane flew overhead and I yelled and cried at it because it made me fall down.

When I was little I decided that I was a superior to evryone on earth and had special divine knowledge. Yeah I was a little disturbed! Well I made up historical events and even a form of math that made no sense except to me that I claimed was the kind of math Thomas Jeffersona and Abraham Lincoln learned. I would put together to addition flash cards overlapping and see if the person could figure out the answer. When someone finally startee getting them right, it freaked me out. Turns out the light was shining through them. I'm over that whole superior knowledge thing now!

I am 11 years old, going on 12 in 5 months. I had an imaginary friend named Sam, but she got hit by a car one day on the way to the post office. I was 7 years old when she died. I haven't had and imaginary friend since. I am trying to find a new imaginary friend, but I can't seem to...I can't just make up a new one! Anyways, Once I was in school (Grade one) and my teacher asked me what 2x4 was, and I didn't know the answer so I said, "Sam, do you know the answer?" My teacher thought I was going crasy and sent me to the school phsychologist. I went to therapy for two years, and never brought Sam to school ever again.

The little girl i babysit for, Jessie (four years old) is often the source of much wisdom. Here's one of our more recent conversations:

Jessie: I'm half Irish because Daddy's mostly Irish, and Mommy's everything else.
Me: so what's your other half?
Jessie: well, my middle name is Rose, so...i guess pretty.

I didn't know there were poor kids in America. When my old bike was given to charity I thought it would be shipped to Africa and eaten.

I remember losing a toy gun while on vacation when i was five. It was my favorite toy in the world. When i got back home, i had a dream one night that it was at school in the playground. I spent the next two weeks looking for it. My friends couldn`t understand why i kept looking at the ground. Too this day, i still wonder where my little toy gun is.

I used to believe at night, when I was in bed, the toys in my closet would come to life. I always dreamed of my Ken dolls killing me for torturing them so much and flushing one of their heads down the toilet... o.o;;;

i decided to cut all of my doll's hair one day because i figured it would grow back like mine did. i cried for four hours when i found out the truth.

When I was little and my mom would take me to the store I would walk with my feet turned in when she wasn't looking because I thought if people thought that I was a crippled child they would give me money.

When I was little I used to believe I was a pretty princess and that I was the most beautiful person in the world, and that everyone was trying to make me not know it so I wasnt concieded, so they all just ignored me.

I used to believe I was an alien. I eventually decided i probably wasn't, but most of my friends still think i'm an alien.

The rest of my friends think i'm a vampire because I like the taste of blood. But i also like garlic so i'm pretty sure i'm not a vampire. Crosses don't work on vampires. BTW

My grandma died when i was 4. Soon after that i saw a lady on tv playing a violin, and another lady who was dancing to the music was lying on the floor until the music started, then she got up and danced. i thought that if i learned to play the violin i would be able to bring my grandma back to life. I did learn to play and now i play with a national youth orchestra and have reached grade 5. thanks grandma!!!
