I lost a balloon one time and it floated into the sky. So I thought my dad would ask NASA if he could use their rockets to go into space and get my balloon back!

I used to believe tat dolls had feelings and if i broke it it would die and I wold be sad....
I broke a doll one day and tried to put its head back on and i believed that it was crying.
When I was about six or so, I convinced my sister(two years younger than I) that she was, in fact, a fish. I don't know how I did it, or why. She claimed not to believe me, but as soon as I pretended to look away, she started trying to 'swim' right there.
My mom used to think there was something wrong with her because she had to breathe, she didn't know everyone did it. I myself used to hate breathing, I thought it was annoying because you kept having to do it over and over.

When I was little, my cousins made me believe that I was a cactus fairy. Now, Cactus Fairie's sit on Cactuses... 'nuff said :)
I thought that when I went to sleep, all of the stuffed animals in my room and all over the world got up and did things that normal humans do, and mine would always go on dates and save the world.
I was convinced that my parents never actually took me out of my home town. They would put me in the car and have some sort of elaborate get up outside that would make fake scenery for me to watch whilst they created the 'new' outside. So after 2 days of travelling - as far as I was concerned, we hadn't gone anywhere, it was just warmer.
When I was really little, I used to sit on my mom's lap and play with an alphabet See-N-Say. She would pull the lever and we'd say the words out loud together. Well, whenever it came to M, she would always say my name instead of "Moon," as the See-N-Say said. She always said it louder than the toy, so I always thought I was really cool because I had a toy that said my name. However, I could never figure out why it said my name but had a picture of a moon on it.
Some time later (we're talking about fifteen years), I found the toy again and set it to the letter M. When I finally heard it say moon, I became really confused because to me, it had never said that before.
I used two think two of my toys were possessed by the devil. First was my
troll who I sweared would talk by itself (it was supposed to talk if you squeezed its stomach), and the other one was a porecelain doll which my sister told me was possessed and I believed her. I was scared to walk into my room because she was always sitting there staring. I was terrified of them!
When I was young, I had this REALLY mean babysitter with a son and daughter who were equally as evil. Her daughter (I called her Sissy) led me up to her room where she had a huge basket of plastic food toys. Thinking they were real, I bit into a plastic hamburger. My two front teeth fell out and I had to wear dentures until they grew back.
That was four years later, when I was eight.
I used to belive I was tricked into thinking I was who I was by having false memories put into my head. I watched my mother wash lettus in the sink one day. I looked at her and tryed to remember that this memory was a legitimate one.
When I was little, my mother gave me this new remote-controlled, hot pink, barbie-car. I thought it was so cool! Immediantly I went outside and tried it....
The batteries were put in and even before I pressed any of the buttons, it started to move on its own! I pressed the left and it went to the right! I shut it off and it kept on going! Quickly I threw the car into my closet and NEVER used it again...
...I thought it was possessed. rofl.
i used to believe that i controlled lightening and thunder. i would go outside with a piece of a broken metal rod and bang it on the concrete. i would say that everytime the rod hit the ground lightening and thunder would come at my will.

I woke up one morning believing that my body had been switched but my brain had stayed. I am not sure if it is entirely untrue...
When I was I would watch this show called "The Secret Life of Toys", and if you've never seen it, it's about these toys that are still when people are around but when they're gone the toys come to life. I used to try and close my door and open it fast enough to catch my toys talking. I even set traps to try and catch them.

I used to believe that I could control the sun by moving a bowling pin (which I had won at a bowling alley) like a remote control :d
When i was about 3 or 4, i used to have a cabbage patch doll w/red hair. anyway one nite i watched chuckie, and i thought since they both were dolls and had red hair that she'd come alive at nite and try to kill me. So i stuffed her in a box in the garage, and never played w/her again. lol
I used to believe…
you know how when most kids play with toys, you hear them chattering away, making up their own conversations and the like?
i never did that. i beleived that my toys were actually alive, and that i could talk to them telepathically. each had their own personalities and quirks, and their own groups of friends and the toys that they didn't like so much. oftentimes they would fall in love, get married, and have families. sometimes new toys had a hard time adjusting and would get homesick for their old families, and wouldnt want to play with the other toys.
i kinda miss the good old days, even though the high school drama is a lot like the situations my toys would find themselves in! oftentimes i still find myself conversing with the odd stuffed animal...

I used to think that we were humans living in a giants world, and we were little ant's and that when someone died that the giant had stood on me
I had a huge collection of stuffed animals when I was a kid. I would stare at my toys then pretend I'd go to sleep then pop my eyes open as fast as I could. I was positive that I'd catch my stuffed animals moving around the room and interacting with one another.
