My little cousin was obsessed with Harry Potter, and one day she burst into my room saying she made a spoon levitate. I guess that incident made her think she had magical powers, and she thought on her eleventh birthday she would get an owl from the "Hogwarts" in our area. She just had her thirteenth birthday and she's still disappointed about it.

I used to believe that whenever I left my room all my toys came to life and had a party, and whenever they heard somebody approaching, they all jumped back to their places. I was so desperate to catch them in the act, it resulted in several days of me creeping down the hallway trying not to make any noise, in order to catch my stuffed animals partying!

I used to believe that I was the only one in the world who swallowed, and thought I was weird because of it. I found out I wasn't the only one when I had a sore throat and my mum asked me if it hurt when I swallowed.

When my sister was about 5 years old she thought that Ceefax was a perfectly acceptable name for a teddy bear. I don't know what happened to Ceefax but he had that name for many years.

when i was like 7 i thought that everyone was watching me all the time through little camera and i would never do anything i though was weird or stupid cause i though that they would see my.

People. They were not real. They had created me. I was the only real one. The last. (first?) It took lots of hugs from my mom to convince me i was not alone.

Also!!! I wasn't that sure about God when I was little, so I decided God was real, but not what we thought. God was really aliens, and when we died they would take our brains and put them back into another body so we could 'live' foreverer and on... heheheheh

When I was little, I asked my older brother where all my matchbox model cars disappeared to. He told me that they ended up in a big glass jar on our roof, and I spent days standing in the back garden gazing longingly upwards

when i was young i used to believe that the world was full off little dolls house and people where dolls and when you moved house it was because the giant that owned you had got bored and wanteda new doll

My parents had to watch every penny when we were kids, and as I had an older brother and sister, I got all their toys after they'd grown out of them. When I got my first bike (which they'd both had before me), I was so worried that it might wear out quickly that I frantically pedalled backwards down every hill to prevent this happening.

i used to think my toys were alive. i thought that when i left my bedroom they would get up and talk to eachother, and do chores and go to work, you know the usual stuff people do.i used to leave my barbies in a particualr order and remember it so when i came back if they had changed places it was true!
my brother who is 3 years older knew i thought this and would rearange them, so i believed this until i was about 9!

Until I was about 9 I used to think that I was a lab experiment. I used to think that everyone around me including Mom & Dad were actors (just like the movie the Truman Show w/ Jim Carrey)

I used to believe that my house was under constant surveillance by the government and that the mirrors, TV screen, Computer Screen, and Windows were all two-way mirrors (like on cop shows), so I'd always pretend to do normal stuff around the mirrors like read a newspaper, listen to music while doing the dishes, or other stuff, to try and fool them into thinking I was just another regular person and they shouldn't be watching me.

When I was 6 or 7 I used to think that my index and middle finger were space travellers from another planet who had their own tv show on earth. They "space walked" everywhere, each time I went out that was a new episode. And I would announce it by saying "index and middle go to The store" Or wherever we were going.
The show eventually got cancelled.

When I was little my mother had me and my sisters believe that play do was illegal in Rhode Island, which is my hometown. So we never bought it.

In some part of my childhood I really used to believe that i was different & didn't belong to earth & maybe had some magical powers which could help me rule all the kids so that I can be their princess!!!

I used to believe that my toys would come alive when I went to sleep. And when I threw them they got mad and when they came to life they would try to kill (in english) me while I slept.*laugh*

When I was about 6 or 7, my friend and I used to think stuffed animals were alive. We would even stand outside my bedroom door, hiding, to see if they would move. I was convinced that I had heard one breathing!

I used to think that my favourite stuffed animal, a rabbit, was able to fly. One day when I was at my Granparents, I left her (my bunny) on the kitchen hanging lamp. When I got back she was three feet away behind the washer and dryer! My Granpa was also astonisished and I still don't know how she got there to this very day!
