I used to have to organize my stuffed animals every night and morning on my bed and I treated them like they had feelings. Not always good feelings though. I had to make sure that none of them were lonely and that the ones who didn't like each other were far away so that they wouldn't fight and make the others cry while I was away.

when i was a kid i believed that all of my stuffed animals could really see and they were watching you all the time and they followed you. I also believed that there was always a ghost right behind me.
I used to believe that people around me could read my thoughts. I then became insecure of what i thought, and if i had a thought that might offend someone else who didn't know what i meant by it, i would try to cover it up and make excuses for those reading my mind. It got to the point where i would send false information to others, and then snicker at what an evil thing i had done. I have no idea how i thought this, maybe i was just a really paranoid boy.
I used to believe, literally, that the earth revolved around me. I thought that people started moving and talking and being as soon as they saw me, and then when I was gone, they would freeze in place until I cam back.
When I was a kid, I used to believe that all my cuddly toys were really alive. I thought that when I was playing with them, they were just pretending to be toys and that as soon as I left the room they would all spring to life. I used to try and catch them out by leaving the room, and then sneaking back in, thinking I would catch them all having a party or something. Needless to say, it never worked...
When I was 5, I got a toy pirate ship for christmas complete with various little plastic pirates. My older brother told me that the man who stood in the crow's nest on top of the mast was called the "nudity man". I took my pirate ship to school and told everyone what I learned for show-and-tell.
I used to believe that I was adopted, and my real family was royalty, I of course was a princess. They were just waiting till I turned 18 to come and take me away.

i used to believe i am the smartest girl in the world.i can give the reason to anything in the world,no matter the reason is right or wrong.
I used to believe that when I was 6 that the way I perceived the world through my eyes would be unique. That the colors the shapes and the dimensions of things I saw were different for everyone. I remember telling my dad this and we were in the bathroom and he said, "do you see yourself in the mirror and me in the mirror and do the images look different then what you see here in this room?" Which I had to acknowledged it was the same, but maybe it was just reflections of things I saw differently, etc? Some days I'm *still* not sure! Which is probably why most of my friends think I'm insane anyways.
You know how in Disney movies, the animals always flock to the princess because she's so beautiful and kind? I used to think that animals would do that for me. I would chase these poor sparrows and pigeons and tried to figure out why they would never come to me.
Like most kids, I used to believe that monsters hid under my bed. So at night, to keep myself safe, I would take all my stuffed animals and line them up around the edge of the bed. If a monster would try to reach up and grab me all they would find would be the stuffed animals.
I used to have a load of plastic terrapins which I kept in a plastic box. I kept them in the cupboard surrounded by ripped up newspaper in order for them to "hibernate".
I'd take them out every so often to make sure they were ok...
Up until I was four or five, I *insisted* that I'd been a flower before I turned into a person--that I had been planted, not born. I really believed it. I talked to plants all the time because I thought they were "just like me."
Maybe it was my mom's way of avoiding the whole complicated reporduction tale.
When I was little, about 6 years old, I made Barbies and Ken dolls "have sex" by rubbing them together. I was later disappointed to find that Barbie never became pregnant nor had a baby.

My Girlfriend used to believe that carebares lived in the clouds.. Imagine her discust when she went away on holiday on an aeroplane, looking out for the carebares, but couldn't find any! :P
I used to believe that when I went to sleep, all my stuffed animals would come alive and go party in the land behind the mirror. I remember trying to cajole ‘me, telling that I knew they were really alive so it was okay to speak to me. I also remember begging to get to go along on the nocturnal jaunts to behind-the-mirror land; and, on at least one occasion, I beat the tar out of them for keeping up the pretense and not letting me through the mirror.
i always thought that my whole life was a movie and everyone else was in on it except me, i was convinced everyone else had a script to follow and i was the only one who wasn't in on it. long before this concept ever hit hollywood
