I used to have to organize my stuffed animals every night and morning on my bed and I treated them like they had feelings. Not always good feelings though. I had to make sure that none of them were lonely and that the ones who didn't like each other were far away so that they wouldn't fight and make the others cry while I was away.

when i was a kid i believed that all of my stuffed animals could really see and they were watching you all the time and they followed you. I also believed that there was always a ghost right behind me.

When I was a kid, I used to believe that all my cuddly toys were really alive. I thought that when I was playing with them, they were just pretending to be toys and that as soon as I left the room they would all spring to life. I used to try and catch them out by leaving the room, and then sneaking back in, thinking I would catch them all having a party or something. Needless to say, it never worked...

When I was 5, I got a toy pirate ship for christmas complete with various little plastic pirates. My older brother told me that the man who stood in the crow's nest on top of the mast was called the "nudity man". I took my pirate ship to school and told everyone what I learned for show-and-tell.

Like most kids, I used to believe that monsters hid under my bed. So at night, to keep myself safe, I would take all my stuffed animals and line them up around the edge of the bed. If a monster would try to reach up and grab me all they would find would be the stuffed animals.

I used to have a load of plastic terrapins which I kept in a plastic box. I kept them in the cupboard surrounded by ripped up newspaper in order for them to "hibernate".

I'd take them out every so often to make sure they were ok...

Totally insane...

When I was little, about 6 years old, I made Barbies and Ken dolls "have sex" by rubbing them together. I was later disappointed to find that Barbie never became pregnant nor had a baby.

I thought my stuffed animals had feelings. I had so many of them they all wouldn't fit on my bed, but I didn't want to leave them out. So, half way through the night I'd want space and go on the floor. Then I would feel bad and take them with me. I'd keep switching back and fourth all night long.

When I was young, our school seemed to have a large electricity safety program. There were videos of children being electrocuted after going to fetch a ball from a power area, and we even had a live demonstration one day of a hot dog getting cooked on an electric wire, just like our little fingers would.

Needless to say, when I saw a commercial for Nintendo, with bolts of energy shooting from the console and the slogan, "Now you're playing with power," I was certain that it was a public service announcement to warn me against the dangers of the NES.

Once when I was 5 this boy brought googly eye glasses to class. I asked him if I could wear them but he told me "No, they are really really hot" and the only reason he could wear them was cause he was older and could handle the heat. For the longest time I believed him cause I only saw older kids waering them. I was impressed by how pain-tolerant they all were.

When I was younger, I would often hump my stuffed animals, but thought I had to keep my clothes on when I did it or I would get pregnant!
I wonder what a half human, half teddy bear would look like. =)

as a child, my parents wouldn't allow me to play with toy guns because they told me they "didn't believe in guns". i took that to mean they did not believe guns exhisted, like when one says one doesn't believe in ghosts. i thought them very silly.

As a little girl i was a huge barbie fan, and i used to believe that if i treated them well enough (especially my fav one) that they would come to life and i would have my very own barbie best friend.

As a small kid, I believed that we were given two weeks off from school at Christmas just so we could play with the new toys Santa brought us. I remember feeling sorry for my teenage sisters because because all they got were clothes and jewely. How could you have any fun with stuff like that for two whole weeks?

My family and I lived in an apartment complex when I was young; One year I got a small electric organ for Christmas and played it faithfully every single day. When I proudly told our next door neighbor what I got for Christmas, she simply replied with "I know..." It took me years to figure out how on earth my neighbor could have possibly known I'd received that organ for Christmas.

When I was 3 years old, I really used to believe that if I played with dolls after the sun went down, they would danced on my forehead when I was asleep...

(my grandmother used to tell me this when I didn't put my "dolls away").

When I was a child, I somehow picked up the peice of information that ragedy ann and andy's hearts were made of candy.

I remember cutting ragedy ann's chest open and trying to extract her candy heart.
I never found it and I believe my parents were very put upon that I had knifed one of my stuffed animals.

I was 4 or so at the time.

When I was five we moved to Texas and my Dad put up a swingset in the back yard. It was up but the legs didn't have the stakes on them to keep it in the ground. I was scared to death when my Dad asked me to give it a try. I was convinced that I would fly into space and would never be heard from again.
