I had this weird thing where my mum would give me a back rub to stop me from being worried. After a few tries, we found out that talking about my worries was more effective, but when she did the back rub thing she claimed that she was "sending my worries to space". That gave me the belief that emotions were physical things that were just intangible and invisible (like water vapor) and I was worried that if she sent my worries to space, it would cause aliens to become randomly afraid because they'd "possess" them or something.

When my older sister told me that farmers were a real thing, I refused to believe her. I thought farmers were just a made up human creature, like wizards or vampires.

I read a book about a girl who finds a magical umbrella that makes you able to fly and at the end of the book, it said, "Perhaps it has landed in someone's garden."
Then, I saw an umbrella in someone's garden and thought it was The umbrella.

My friend said she was a fairy but when I asked her to fly as proof, she said that it would make her powers disappear because she "wasn't a very good fairy". I wasn't convinced.

This is weird but when I was little my hands were kind of like friends to me (only sometimes) and when I washed my hands I pretended they were fighting over the soap. My left hand was a little boy and my right hand was an older girl. Sometimes I would play with my hands and pretend the right hand was a witch who tried to steal stuff from the left hand, it was weird.

Background info: My grandmother lives near the dead end of a road. Her house and a few of her neighbors are surrounded by a large forest.
When I was around 5 or 6, my cousin told me that there were cannibals in the forest surrounding my grandmother's house. I believed that for about 5 years.
She said that they were fat, ugly and carried around a chicken drumstick style thing made of human meat.
I was terrified. I still don't go near that forest.

I love Harry Potter I AM ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED, so I really wanted a Hogwarts letter that I was almost driven to INSANITY!!! I REAAAALLLYYYY wanted Harry Potter to be real. I still love Harry Potter.
I WANTED to be a witch. So, think of it like good spells, not bad if you are scared!!!

When i was little i used to thnk there was a mosnter hiding in the toilet. In my imagination it looked like a scary red thing with big sharp teeth and glowing eyes,
I thought it was gonna eat me if i wentr in the bathroom by myself so i woke up my parents every night and asked them to check the toilet for monsters. One day i learned monsters are just make believe, they don't exist and thne i stopped beliving in monsters.
