One night when I was around 6 or so, my mother told me that if we didn't pick our shoes off the floor and put them in the closet, the shoe gnomes would come and take them. I starting sobbing and screaming, little men sneaking into my room at night to steal my shoes terrified me!! My dad had to sleep in my room that night

When I was a child I solely believed in ghosts. There was an old maid at my house. I used to think that she was a witch. It was Holloween when I asked her about her withcraft,and she gave me a scary look saying YES! I was so afraid that Startied yelling and screaming. And whenever she came to wark at house, I used to hide in my washroom. It continued for three whole years!

When I was young one of my best friends told me the bloody mary story at church on wensday one night and so when ever I was in the church alone I could never go into that room alone and I thought that she lived in there when all the lights were off.

Me and my twin sister used to have an imagenary friend called billy. billy was a twin so i got 1 twin and my sister got the other twin. we would argue how stupid our billy was like "He drove to his next door neighbours!" and "he feel out of the window while he was on the loo!" i always imagined my billy to be a waterbottle!

When I was young I believed that If I slept with my bedroom window open then a burgular could come in, and if instead I slept with my bedroom door open than monsters could come in. Everynight I would contemplate on which source of cool air to take a risk with. As I got older the door always one because i became skeptical of the existance of monsters.
And even past this stage, the idea of home invasion terrified me.

When i was in first grade i was the only one who DIDNT believe in Santa Clause. I guess my parents were very into anti-commercialism of Christmas. I also remember that some other kid told the lunch lady on me for it. And a girl in my class' proof was that Santa was at her best friend's Christmas party every year.

The laast tine I Beleived in the tooth fairie was when I left a doll house coated in detective glitter (foot prints would be in the glitter if the fairie showed up) at the foot of the bed. I Knew she wasn't there because the cookies weren't touched. I loved science as a child.

One of my main Imaginary friends was Penny, the substitute sister for me when my real one was at college. (she was like, 18 when I was 9) Penny had a magical skateboard that could change to any action thing possible...like a snowboard or hangglider or jet pack.
I remember I used to watch the telephone pole lines when we would go driving, cause I pretended she was rollerblading along them--and when they ended, she would jump off and hang glide. Fun fun!
