I used to have an imaginary friend named Click(dont know where I got the name) and he was a very tiny T-rex who wore glasses. I was obsessed with dinosaurs, so sometimes I wanted to go with click back home to the pre-historic times where he lived but I knew I couldnt because his dad would eat me. I was weird.

This one isn't about me, it's about my brother. When he was about 8 or 9 his mom told him that if he didn't sleep with his hands and feet under the covers (he had a bad habit of throwing off the covers) they would be eaten by the boogy man.

I used to believe that bunny rabbits hatched from eggs, since the Easter Bunny gave you eggs.
I have two older sisters, and when we were little, my middle sister and I wrote letters to Santa Claus. Showed us where we could send them and get letters back(Of course, places in HER room). My oldest sister pretended to write letters to Santa like us, but really she was writing replies to the letters we had already written. She would put all of our letters in the sending spot and make sure we watched. Then while we waited outside for replies, she made excuses to go in and switched her letters to the recieving spot and hide ours somewhere where we wouldn't find them. She would come back out, and a few minutes later she would say, "Let's go see if he wrote back!" We would check, and of course our letters were gone and "Santa's" letters were there. I don't know when my sister caught on, but I didn't realize what she had done until years later!

When I was growing up as an only child somewhere around the age of 4-6 I had an imaginary brother named Frank and he even had a birthday (January 24th) which as you know I still remember but I would always play monopoly with him but when my mom asked why I never let him roll the dice I told her that he had carpal tunnel from too much bowling (I got the idea from my dad's friend who that really DID happen too)
*A moment of silence in memory of Frank*

When i was 4 or 5, i saw a statue "come alive" on T.V.
Later on , my mother received a statue as a gift. you could not keep me in the same room with that thing. I was absolutely terrified of it. I thought that it too would come alive and come after me. I'm 36 now and I'm still nervous around statues, busts, even big dolls.

i used to believe that if you forgot or stopped believing in an imaginary friend they would turn into a monster and try to kill you.
I used to believe that Dracula lived in the clock tower downtown. Why? Because my dad told me, and naturally, I knew my dad would never lie to me. There was a little blinking red light up on the tower so that plans wouldn't fly into it. My Dad said that those were Dracula's red eyes. And I thought he was winking at me. So everytime we walked past there at night I got all freaked out because I thought Dracula was telling me I was was next. *wink wink*

When I found out that santa wasnt real (I was about 8) I pretended that I still beleived in him because I thought my mum would get upset. -._.-
I've always had many imaginary friends, and still do (to an extent). One of the ones I remember the most was my Digimon (Digital Monster) named Marmoterriermon, who had a gold "earband" as I called it, was grey, and had blue eyes. He was cool...

When I was about 7 years old, I still believed in the Tooth Fairy. So when we went to Europe for summer vacation, I actually lost 2 teeth. So I wondered if the Tooth Fairy would find me in Europe and I got so worried, I cried myself to sleep. (Yeah, thats sad.) And then when I woke up, I found money under my pillow and I cried because of joy.
Boy, is that dramatic.
I had an Imaginary Friend who's name was Connie. She was the same age as me, I was about 4. Maybe she was a little older. Anyways, She dresses like she was from victorian time. Long fluff brown hair, frilly dress, etc. She was really mean. She would bite me, pull my hair, break things, I WOULDN'T DO ANY OF IT! Then one day i got fed up and pushed her out the car window while we were moving. Yup, that was the last time I saw her. Until about 1 year ago when I thought I saw her out of the corner of my eye. hmmm interesting...

When i was little we were burgled on christmas night and all the presents were stolen along with the TV. My parents told me there were no presents because Santa was so angry with my behaviour over the past year he stole out TV. The next year I slept downstairs with a plastic sword waiting for Santa to make sure he didn't steal the new TV. Of course i fell asleep before the morning and unfourtunately my mum & dad arranged a man in a Santa suit to come to our house. When he arrived he and my parents walked into the living room where I was asleep. My dad woke me up and I saw santa standing there. As soon as i saw there were no presents i grabbed my plastic sword and ran at him in a rage shouting "THIEF! F*****G THIEF!"
I had imaginary friends of ALL my class when I was about 7. (example....Imaginary Sarah Brown....) and would call her ISB for short, Imaginary Matt Jones IMJ and so on....don't know when I stopped but at 14 I don't still do it!!!

When I turned 4 or 5 I had a pinata at my birthday. After it broke, it only had a hole near the bottom so it looked like new. I named "him" Skunka Wunka. He looked like a dinosaur with a long neck and was rainbow-colored. I kept him for about a day and talked to him but I remember reaching inside the hole to see if there was any extra candy and I felt a staple. He hurt me! I started to cry and threw away Skunka Wunka. :(
i used to belive that at christmas everyones parents would meet up in a big hall and father christmas would hand out all the presents because there was no way he could skweeze through a chimney.

As a child growing up my dad would take my brothers and I to monster movies. I would believe they were real life monsters but the thing I couldn't understand why weren't they in the news at 5:30 PM, which my dad would always watch.

When I was little, I did not want to grow up at all. I didn't want to grow up to the point that I believed Peter Pan would fly in my room one night and take my away to Neverland. Eventually I got older and realized that Peter Pan was never going to come...it was kind of sad.

When I was about 6 or 7 I was beginning to become sceptical about the existence of fairies and when my parents had some carpet tiles put into the house (the type with a sticky side to fix them to the floor) I thought I might have a means of proving whether fairies were real or not.
I left one of the carpet tiles sticky-side-up in the garden, with a leaf in the middle, on top of which was a pile of mulberries that I'd picked from our tree. I ran outside first thing in the morning to see if I'd caught any, but of course the carpet tile was devoid of magical creatures - not even insects had been caught.
When I told my Dad that I'd proved fairies don't exist, he wanted to keep me believing in childhood things, so he told me that fairies were clever enough to avoid traps - that kept me guessing for a few years! He also told me not to set any more traps, because I wouldn't want to be trapped, so therefore I shouldn't do the same to other creatures. What a nice Dad!
