so yeah, when i was about in the third grade i went up camping in the woods with my girl scout troop. so, we were driving up there, and we were saying ghost stories, well, one of my friend was saying the bloody mary story. well, it was like night time when we were driving, so we were all freaked out. so we all got to our camp site and set up. well, we were sharing the spot with a "sister troop". so we all just there. well, the other troop came, and one of the girls name was mary. and she also was a new girl to our school. needless to say, everyone was scared of her...yes...rumors in the third grade...but later we found out she WASN'T "bloody mary".

I used to believe that there was a gnome-looking kind of guy. His name was the "Little Guy", since he was a dwarf. He had a green hat like Merlin had and a green outfit. I thought that he used to want to kidnap me or kill me. So, I thought that whatever position I was in my bed, I had to stay still and pull the sheets over my head. Then he would come up and look under the sheets and he that I was in that position and walk away very slowly (the same speed he walked when he came up to my bed). I also thought that music was playing in the background when this happened. I didn't get over this until I was about in the fifth grade.

when i was little i used to buckle the seatbelt next to me and not let anyone sit there, or look there the wrong way, or not open the door, bcuz sesame street characters, like big bird, cookie monster, and elmo were tagging along. I had a conniption fit if my mother "left" them in the car.

when i was little i was compleatly convinced that santa could hear me anywhere i was. he could hear me like god could. that letters were only an option. anyways, whenever i told my parents what i wanted i always got it and i got suspicious of them giving me what i wanted from santa. so whenever a toys r us magazine would arrive i take it to the center of the living room and say quietly to myself (eyes closed, head bowed) 'please santa gimme that' when my mother would come close to me and ask what i was doing i would bite her head off....im suprised i wasnt convicted....

when I was younger I used to believe that ghost were just people from the future. Here was my theory, when you saw a ghost, someone from the furure, the only reason that they would fade away was because they had changed the future. By changing them they would have to go because it it changed the future.

I thought there were tiny green martians on Mars that were going to come to Earth take over our planet. I wondered how a small population of TINY green martians could defeat us humans. I figured it was because they were smarter and had advanced technology. Whenever I saw those big bright lights that shine up into the sky to draw your attention (like at Universal Studios, etc.) I thought that they were lights from an alien ship that had landed and that it was to draw us in like a bug zapper. So, evey time I saw that kind of lights I would shout.."RUN!" or "Get down!" and " They're going to kidnap us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't look at the light!!

When I was little, I used to believe that fairies were friendly to kids and gave them presents (like the tooth fairy). Then my sister read me a poem (can't remember the name of it) and I began to believe that fairies were evil little creatures that come out into your bedroom in the night and kidnap you. Then, I believed you would be trapped in the fairies world or demension forever as a prisoner. Eventually, I learned that fairies are just make-believe.

My older brother and I were looking out of my bedroom window one night, and I asked him what the large beam of light was in the sky (it was one of those spotlights that are aimed into the sky to premeier a new shopping center or something.)

He told me it was aliens in space. Those lights have always bothered me since.

I used to work in a nursery and all the kids loved this one book about a bear. Except one little girl called Laura who believed that whenever the book was read, the bear was actually coming. It took me a while to convince her that there were no bears in England.

Certain Gypsies believe that watermelons will turn into vampires if they are kept for too long.

However, they aren't afraid of these vampires, as they don't have any teeth.

I did have an imagionary friend, I wasn't a real socialable person unless you got to know me.Well, my "best friend" was Diamond. I thought she was incredibly beautiful because she was indian and had diamond dresses on every time we played together. When we were done i'd tell her goodbye and believe that she left through a bright vortext thing that resembled a zipper. I still love the indian culture and to this day i find indian traits very appealing and beautiful.

When I was really little (I can't remember how old but I know it was before I went to school) I had an imaginary friend named Fiction. I never remembered Fiction but my mom told me about it.

She said I would walk around the house talking to the ceiling. Apparently Fiction could fly!

Well one day my mom decided to ask me about Fiction. My mom first asked who I was talking to and I responded, "Fiction." The next day she asked what fiction looked like and I just shrugged. I never answered any more questions about Fiction after that :D

When I was little I used to have an imaginary friend named lilil and she lived in the toliet, with her family. When I went to the bathroom, number 2, I'd say " ok lilil here's your dinner"(or whatever time of the day it was). And I thought that if i didn't pee and poop enough that she would die.

i used to believe in the tooth fairy. i did some math and realized that she had to hold about $2 billion on her every night, since she wouldnt have enough time to go back to her house in between visits. and naturally, her first stop of the night would be my house. i decided to catch and rob the fairy, so i hid a small butterfly net under my pillow and pretended to be asleep the night after i had lost a tooth. i must have dozed off because the next thing i knew, there was a faint tinkling noise. i grabbed my net and turned on the light, only to find my dad there, change in hand, trying to find a quarter. im not sure who was more shocked...

I once had an upper floor bedroom that had a great view of the sky and I wished to leave earth to sail around the stars and planets. I used to stash coins under the carpet by the window, so that the pirates from space would see that I was good at hiding money and come to take me along with them.
