I used to believe…

When I was 4 or 5 on Christmas Eve I was excited and didn't want to go to sleep. So after my Dad went through numerous tries to get me to sleep he got fed up and said "If your not asleep when Santa comes and if he sees you he'll stab your eyes out so he won't have any witnesses." I was so scared in the morning after I peeked around the corners to see if Santa was still there or not.

I accidently had my brother terrified of the tooth fairy because I told him that the tooth fairy came in and took your teeth and left money for them. So he believed that some big macho looking guy in a tutu with a wand would knock your teeth out and pay cash for them. He slept face down for a few years because of that.

I used to believe that the tooth fairy was real so I tried to communacate with him/her. I wrote them a note with an answering machine please start your message now... on it. The next morning, when there was no message, I was convinced I had failed at communacating with him/her.

when i was younger i always believed that if u stuck something under your pillow that a magical fairy would take it away when u slept. (like the toothfairy) so i never put anything under my pillow until i was about 10 years old.

I have heard so many versions of this story. But the one that I remeber most is probably the one I was told in 3rd grade. One of my newer friends had told us that bloody mary was a bride when she had died and that she was married to a guy named "candy man" I have no clue where they got this idea at ALL. Well that story when that he killed her and becuase of the blood on her dress she was givin the name "Bloody Mary". Also that "Candy Man" would appear out of the mirror and kill you if you brought candy into the bath room with you. I didn't bring sweets near the bathroom mirror for quite a while.

my mom has this thing with antiques, and upstairs she hung this old picture of a woman. this picture did the thing where the eyes follow you when you walk past it... i was absolutely terrifed of it and whenever i walked down the hall i would carry things like a robot and keep my eyes on the floor. my older sister finally took it down because it really freaked us all out. at 15, i still refuse to look at it...

I once lost my tooth in a piece of pizza at a Bar Mitzvah in Colorado. When I put the tooth under my pillow, the next morning I only got 50 cents, when I would normally have 1 dollar. I told my parents, and every single member of our family about how cheap the Colorado tooth fairy was. Then, when we got back to Detroit, my mom slipped a not under my pillow that said, "Well, your a cheap little kid. From: The Colorado Tooth Fairy" From then on, I thought that The Colorado Tooth Fairy was out to get me and that I couldn't lose any teeth while we were in that state

When I was 7, mom began playing 'fairy' for me. She'd draw me cards, write letters, leave small gifts... I believed until I was eleven. Now, reading through those old surprises, I have to laugh at how many times "be a nice girl and tell your daddy to buy mommy..." comes up in them.

i used to believe that if you went to bed not tired, you had to lie completly still and cover up entirely or else evil indian zombies will get you. you would only remain that way until you got tired

when i was younger my brother and his friend were talking on the phone when his friend asked to talk to me (8 at the time). But before he let me talk he told his friend to sound like Santa and i believed it! So for two years everyday i got to talk to "Santa" (his friend). Then finally he told me it was his friend i cried then attacked him!! hehe :D

I used to belive for some reason that a witch lived under the refridgerator and wanted to eat my feet. So at night I would not go up to the fridge unless the kitchen light was on. Also I belived she lived under my bed at night. Why and how I came up with these I don't know.

when i was young, i used to have an imaginary friend named Carla. She was accually a tape recorder. and i would use a blank tape and have conversations with myself. I used my own voice for myself and a different one for carla and then i would play it back and listen to it. I would never let anyone touch my black stereo because it was my best friend, Carla

I used to beleive that I had an army of millions of invisible dalmation puppies, that all loved me and did whatever I told them to. Once I took my best friend up on top of the tallest playground toy at school, and pursueded her that my invisible puppies were making things move. I would point to a kid chasing a ball across the playground and say, "See, that's Josie, running from that kid with the ball in her mouth. She's a trouble maker.", or would point to spots in the grass that were shorter then the rest and say that that was where one of my invisible puppies were laying.

I think she beleived me. At least she pretended to.

I used to have a little plastic pig that I pointed to the teacher so she won't give me so much homework to do.
My brother believed that too, so I would keep the pig for one week and he would have it the other week.

ever since i was little i've been deathly scared of the dark, so i used to think if i had my blanket over my body at all times it was some type of sheild from vampires and witches

When i was little i used to believe there was a little girl running alongside the car wheneva we were on long motorway journeys.... she was called nature girl and she lived in trees....and she used to hide so no one could see her... no one else knew she was there...only me...

i have 3 imaginary friends one is bloo hes cool and he is my first creation and second is little green is an alien hes bloos brother lg is in mars and bloo is in mexico the only one that i promised to stay with all the time is looloo hes a strange bird that ony says loo loo i miss lg and bloo
