I used to believe…

When I was a child I used to believe that there were ghosts or spirits in my bedroom because when I went to bed and couldn't sleep I used to hear some breathing close to me. I could feel it was sitting on my bed too, but when I turned on the lights there wasn't anybody. Other times I used to cover my head with the bed clothes and tried to fall asleep quickly. I remember it was a horrible situation.

(Sort of nervous to put this here because people are really harsh with ratings, but...)

I do have an imaginary friend, but she's not as interesting as some of the others. She is a girl, no particular age but a little taller than I am, with long midnight-black hair and indigo eyes named Mara (mah-rah). She looks like a fantasy character - her hair is thick and long and swirly, and she wears a dress the same color as the inside of a very pretty shell I found once, gray-silver with rainbow tints.
I came up with her when I was seven or so and going through a stage in which I thought I was better than everyone else and everyone hated me. I was also a very dramatic child, as evidenced by the fact that "Mara" means "bitterness". At that time, Mara defended and comforted me as I thought I needed, and I think she had brown hair.
In sixth grade I brought her back and gave her her current appearance, and she developed a teasing personality, though we're good friends and she is caring when I need it.

When I was small, my friend told me that if you had two radios in the same house tuned to the same station, you could summon aliens to the house. It has yet t work, but I haven't given up trying.

I used to believe that over the houses of my city (in the South-Italy) and near my city, was living a kind of goblins who used to make jokes (sometimes very bad jokes). This because in my city there was (and there is) a legend of these goblins who were called "municeddhri".

I used to have an imaginary 'servant' named Fallon. I would tell her to do things, like "Get me some food, Fallon." I never saw Fallon do anything, but I thought she was trying. I wrote down a list of commands for Fallon once. I thought she was out there somewhere, I just never saw her.

The Halloween Hobgoblins are a race of small, green creatures who live under bridges and in the trunks of hollow trees, and they love Halloween. They like other holidays too, but Halloween is their all-time favorite. Every year they come out of hiding to Trick-Or-Treat and play harmless pranks on the humans of the world, who never realize they're goblins and not just kids in costumes.

But the Halloween Hobgoblins aren't just playful; when they're mad, they can get vicious. And they hate it when anyone dishonors Halloween. They're known to destroy Christmas decorations that get put out too early. And if you don't wear a costume on Halloween, then at midnight, they'll sneak into your bedroom and glue a scary mask to your face. You won't be able to take it off until the glue wears off.

Sure, their methods are a little extreme, but rest assured their intentions are good. They only seek to protect the day they love most.

Not directly related to Santa Claus, but when I first heard of Cupid from classical mythology, I immediately thought of Cupid, one of Santa's reindeer. I figured they must be one and the same, since they're both mythological figures who can fly. When asked how this is possible, I explained that Cupid is an angel the rest of the year, but transforms himself into a reindeer at Christmastime. The other reindeer can do this too, but they tend to keep on the down-low because they're shy.

I actually believe on ghosts because at my house i used to hear whispers but un another language and i have hear a baby crying at my house when i was with my neighbors and nobody was at my house.
