I used to believe…

When I was in year 5 I believed in fairies. And there was a row of houses that backed onto out school playing field (with a fence between of course) and I remember seeing a bird house under a tree which had infact fallen out the tree, and I cofinced my self that it was a house for fairies and even went around telling people about it. When It came to my last day of year 11 a lot of my friends wrote about my 'fairy club' in my leavers book.....How embarrassing.

When I was about 10 I had an imaginary friend called Kelly, I didn't really have any real friends in school so I'd sit at break times 'talking to her'. I remember my cousin telling me one day that she too had got a an imaginary friend who was also called Kelly, so I forced 'my' Kelly to change her name to Kelly-Gemma lol.

I got a dollar from the "tooth fairy" for each tooth under my pillow. Well apparently I decided at one point that this wasn't enough money and I left a note along with my tooth asking for something along the lines of ten bucks from the fairy. Well my mom, sly as she is only left me like ten cents that time....A lesson in greed I suppose but I just could not believe I got ripped off by the tooth fairy!

When I was little my dad told me that the reason the tooth fairy (!) left money under the pillow was because they used to make our teeth into flower pots!

When i was little, i used to believe that the tooth fairy lived in the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. I always thought she was one of the angels that kicked them out

I used to believe…

the katunga was a monster who lurked in the garden, and if you didn't eat all your dinner its eyes would go red with anger and come to eat you. Parents can be evil.

When I was in 4th grade, I started to get a little suspicious about "Santa Claus". I was really curious and smart...I always had questions and my mom and step dad always made up silly answers. So On Christmas 2001, I asked my mom for a scooter...when she told me that she couldn't afford it my dreams were crushed. So I wrote a letter to "Santa" telling him about my scooter troubles and put it with his cookies and the reigndeer's carrots on Christmas Eve. The next morning...what do ya know? I got my scooter....but being as curious as I was I noticed a lot of clues that told me there was no Santa. First of all...I got a note back from "Santa", but the handwriting was just like my step dad's (CLUE 1) My mom's excuse was that all men have the same handwriting! (PSh, yeah sure!) I also noticed that the wrapping paper for my scooter was just like wrapping paper for presents given to me by my mom (CLUE 2) My mom's excuse was that "Santa" uses the same paper to confuse me! (Uh..huh...) And then....The box my scooter came in Said SEARS On the side....(CLUE 3)...when I asked my mom what that was about she said...."Well sometimes Santa sneaks in to Sears after they close...or he sends his elves down..because he doesn't have time to make scooters for all of the children!" And last of all..The signature on the note from "Santa" Was differant then the signature on the notes on my presents from "Santa". (CLUE 4) My Mom said that Santa had one of his elves write it for him!

I can't believe I believed those lies. :-) HAHA

I've heard a lot of differant stories about "Bloody Mary". My best friends and I have tried the ritual before. We all crammed into a the bathroom, with the door shut and the lights off and we said, "Bloody Mary, I killed your baby!" Five times. After the fifth time...nothing happened...I think...We all ran out fo the room screaming before we could even wait a couple seconds after saying it the fifth time, But I heard a story once...about a girl Who tried it. They say that she went into her Bathroom, closed the windows, and shut off all the lights, and closed the doors. After saying the words five times....In the mirror there was a face of an 18th or 19th Century woman in the mirror. The girl got scared and turned away from the mirror. She looked back and Bloody Mary's bloody nails were reaching out from the mirror. The nails were EXTREMLY LONG! Bloody Mary scratched the girls spine and ripped off the skin on her back. She died intsantly. I'm not sure if it's true...but I used to believe it....

Children are normally told that Santa won't turn up if you don't go to sleep, but I had the idea that he would turn up, and find you awake, and not give you any presents!

I remember once when I was little my mom brought my sisters and I to McDonalds. While there I got a Happy Meal with fries. As I sat in the backseat I noticed the guy at the drive-thru was really, really old and I wondered why he was working there. He handed my mom the Happy Meal and she handed it to me. I reached in and pulled out my fries and right when I touched them I realized they were ice-cold and still frozen. I got really scared suddenly and made a conclusion that the old man was an alien trying to poison me with his ice-cold fries. I didn't say anything to my mom. I was too scared. Instead, I waited til I got home to throw them away.

Weird...

when I was about 4 or 5, I saw a cartoon which involved lots of zombies lurching around dressed in rags, + some vampires looking very smart. I assumed that the zombies lived in the graves that said 'RIP', (because their clothes were ripped) + the vampires lived in the others.

I used to have an imaginary friend called Anita and when i was younger i used to go swimming lessons and even though i couldnt really see her i used to think it was a sort of spirit helping me come first in all the races which by the way i did :)

I used to believed that if I were in a public bathroom alone, Bloody Mary would come out of the toilet, and terrorize me. That's why I never go to a public bathroom alone.

i used to believe that the tooth fairy would hurt me... i never left my tooth under my pillow.. or even in the same room as me, or same floor

I used to believe that when I went to the toilet, the things in the room would come alive and talk to me. For example, the shower curtain was a REALLY fussy lady called Fiona who was obsessed with cleaning, the football loving Craig the toilet roll holder and David the gay toilet seat who didn't mind me sitting on his face. I would literally spend HOURS talking to all of them. I was a wierd kid...

I had this imaginary friend named Ashley when I was 5 and we'd do everything together. My older brother and his friends would always make fun of me because I would walk around "talking to myself" then one day, Ashley and I got into a big fight and I haven't seen her since :(
