When I was 8 i used to think the kids from books were real so I used to hang out with Ella for Ella Enchanted, Hermione from Harry Potter, and Addie and Meryl from The 2 Princesses of Bamarre.

I used to believe…

My invisible friend was named Kelly. I had her when I was 4, she looked exactly like me except she had green eyes. She could fly and almost taught me how. When I was 5 I met a girl named Kelly with green eyes and I thought that was totally cool. We were all best friends and the invisible Kelly consoled me when I was 6 and the real Kelly moved. She lived on the top of my bunk bed.

I used to believe that my families cherry tree in our back yard was a fairy tree. My brother and I would wake up every morning and go outside to see what the fairies had left us. Usually it was a stick of gum, or some money.
I didn't find out until later that my mum and dad were the one's putting presents under that tree.

i used to believe that when you were asleep little fairys sprinkled dreaming dust on you to make you have good dreams, then youre dreams would come true. if i could not remember the dream i got told that it was because i had very good dreams and the fairys toook the dream away to give it to someone with no dreams!!

I used to believe that eye-lash curlers were eye-ball eating aliens in disguise

I didn't have an imaginary till I was about 7. He was called Furry Snail, and he was (not surprisingly) a huge furry snail. He didn't make any slime and he usually turned up in the car. I wouldn't let my mom start driving until he had his seatbelt on. Don't ask me how a snail could wear a seatbelt. Also, when I was 2 or something, I thought I was some kind of mermaid made of toothpaste called Button Hair. I had this whole story going. I think even my mom believed it for a while.

I used to believe…

My brother once noted some trees across the street were losing leaves. My babysitter and I then started telling him that ghosts lived in the the trees, and caused them to lose their leaves. She said they'd come out on Halloween, looking like trickortreaters, and then sluuuurrp back into the trees. He was on the verge of tears before I started telling him about the goblins in the fridge...

I used to believe that the reflection in my bathroom mirror was named "Reflectia" and lived in a another world. I'd have conversations with her, thinking this really wasn't strange at all. There was also a girl in the medicine cabinet mirror, but she was mean.

I used to believe that if I didn't turn my light out at night, aliens would see the light from space and come and abduct me.

I used to believe…

my sister was convinced, when we were little, that we had 4 brothers. in fact we only had one. she said that jake and john were her triplets and that freddy was a year older and adopted (she also said that he was jewish for some unknown reason) and then our actual brother brian (who was over 9 years older than me). she told me that my mother sent my 3 brothers away because she didnt like them, which to my 4 year old self made sense because my real brother was honestly my half brother and lived with his mom. years later i found out the truth- i was quite relieved i kept on worrying that my mom was gonna send me away- but we still laugh whenever it comes up. and occasionally we try to fool our friends.

At some point in my childhood I seriously believed that my parents were a witch and a warlock and that the lounge was actually a cave with a cauldren in the middle of it, but everything looked normal because they had put a spell on it. I would try and sneak up quietly and catch them out before it changed back to a living room but they were always too quick for me

I used to believe that I hada real imaginary frnd, his name was Mass, short for mask. I used to play with him all the time, untill he moved away. ... :(. LOL

I used to believe…

When my little brother was four, he had an imaginary friend named Jim. Everyday, he would run around with Jim and scream randomly because Jim was hurting him in some way. One day, my brother came home from day care, and was telling us that he got into trouble. That was all he would say. When we asked what happend, he would look at us in astonishment and repeat "I got in trouble!"

The next day, as my step mom was getting him ready for day care, she asked him if Jim was ready. He answered "he cant come back with me because i got into a fight with him yesterday." she said okay, and they left.

Later that day, he had to come home early, he was crying so hard. Once we finally calmed him down, he was able to tell us that since Jim went to day care with him eventhough he wasnt allowed to, a bear ate him. He was quite sad for a couple days, but now when we ask him about Jim, he doesnt remember him. He is now six.

Here's my version of Bloody Mary (that I've heard of.)

Bloody Mary was a normal person years ago..single parent with her baby. One day while she did the laundry, a witch killed her baby, and when Mary returned she found her baby wrapped in a bloody sheet. She spent her whole life searching for the one who murdered her, but died before she could.

They say that if you turn off all the lights and windows in a bathroom stare int he mirror and say, "Bloody Mary, I killed your baby," five times...she'll peer at you through the mirror, reach through with her long blood red fingernails and kill you.....

Yea...

When I was really young, I got a "Ouiga" (wee-jee) board for Christmas. It was just a cardboard Milton-Bradley one, but I still figured that it would work. We set it up in my bedroom and for the longest time, I had my sister conviced that there was the soul of a girl named Sarah living in the walls of our bedroom. I made up a whole story about her and everything. When we would talk to Sarah through the Ouija board, I would actually be moving the pointer and accuse my sister of moving it so that she got so scared that she actually thought Sarah was doing it. I had a vivid imagination.

When I was younger I used to believe that if you hid under the sheets you were same from the monsters, they couldn't get you!
