untill i was 5, i had an imaginary friend. her name was Samantha. my mom would always set a spot for her at the table, but she never ate her imaginary food. after my sister was born, Samantha "told" me that she had to leave because she didnt like my new sister. i hated my sister for a very long time because she drove away my best friend (we lived in a community with alot of old people who never had any children visit, so i didnt have many friends.)

When I was a young police officer, children would often ask me about my adventures. I would take out a special clip of bullets that I painted silver and told them it was for werewolves. I had this story about how I had shot and injured a werewolf who was later captured and was kept under lock and key at a dog kennel. The story was so convincing. They hung on my every word. I am retired now, but I wonder how long that story was believed.

One night I had lost my tooth. I decided to test and see if there was a tooth-fairy. So, I didn't tell my parents, I put the tooth on my night stand. The next morning there was no money. I told my dad, and he said that the tooth fairy had got caught in the airvent, and that he had to pull her out. And that she was scared, so she flew away. I thought, only being six, that this was true. So the next night, I laid out my tooth on the airvent, and had a baggy. I had decided to catch the tooth fairy. Well, I fell asleep against the wall around one. I woke up and there was "fairy dust" all over the place, with a dollar left behind. I was still determined to catch a fairy, so I found a fake tooth, and laid it out on the airvent one more time. At around 2:15, I thought I saw something go into the airvent, so i started beating on it with my baggy. I stuck my hand into it, only to pull out a huge glob of dust. YUCK!

Around Christmas, when I was misbehaving, my mom always told me that Santa might be listening, so we went to the door and knocked and said "Santa are you here?" and if there was a knock in return, Santa was spying... Oh the shame when I found out who was REALLY knocking all those years. LOL.

When I was about 13 I went to church camp and we had a lock-in. We watched the movie Signs. I totally believed that whole Aliens-hate-water thing. At night I was convinced they wre coming for me so I stole this one kid's lighter and set off the sprinkler system with it. Everyone was awake so they knew there really wasn't a fire but THE PEOPLE WATCHING US WERE SO MAD!!! I wasn't allowed to ever go back there ever again!

We were living in an apartment, and since most apartments don't have chimenys, I asked my mom how Santa got into our house at Christmas and she said that he came through the key hole in out front door!! So one Christmas night while I was wondering how the hell big-ass Santa got through something as small as a keyhole, I heard someone at the door. (With my mother supposedly in bed, but snuck out without my knowing) I thought this was Santa doing his rounds and was about to come through the keyhole! It had to be 1:00 in the morning, and being 8, I sort of got scared. I looked out the window, and saw a black Santa. i had never seen a black santa but he was still a santa!! Thinking fast, I stuffed two toothpicks in the keyhole so that he couldn't get through, and told him to leave my presents at the door. Little did I know that it was my next door nieghbor dressed up as santa, and some of my mom's friends that were going to have a late-night party were waiting in the cold, locked outside because of the toothpicks! With no onw able to open the door, Christmas became an attemp to get poor crying and humiliated me out of the house with the freezing adults outside. When I told my mom everything, I found out at an early age that there was no such thing as Santa!

That Santa Clause only came when you went to bed.
I was 7 years old and I thought that I had a ghost who liked to play tricks on me in my house. Well, one day my mom asked me to get her some potatoes from the top of the basement stairs (where we kept them) and as I got the last potato, I slipped on a stray one and fell all the way down the stairs, getting a huge scrape down my back and bumps on my head from tossing the potatoes in my hand from shock. Sobbing my heart out, I vowed revenge on the ghost who did it!

When I was little, I used to think that if a ghost passed through you, you would become one. So one day I was in my basement (which is infected with ghosts) and I got the most horrible chill I've ever felt! Thinking I was now a ghost, I tried to walk through the basement door without opening it and smacked into it hard and got a huge bump on my forehead for it. >_<
