My brother believes that Link from the Legend of Zelda and the Master Chief from Halo hang out at the local Starbucks, reminiscing about the good old days when they had to save the world. They sometimes go back to the Master Chief's house (he decided Hyrule is probably a long way away) and play Super Smash Brothers Melee. Link's favorite character is Luigi (for some reason) and the Master Chief's favortie character is Zelda / Shiek.
He is swearing that the Master Chief will appear in the new Zelda game coming out this fall; the two are apparently old friends that help each other out in each other's games.

A teacher in our primary school told us that Father Christmas had a million elves who would watch our every move, so that they could report back on whether we were naughty or nice. Then, if we were naughty, Father Christmas would tell God.

When I was about 7 or 8, my mum told me that at dawn in the mornings, if I listened very carefully by the window, I'd be able to hear a magical piper playing flutes...
I swore that I could hear them playing! I think I started believing this after reading Wind In the Willows for some reason!

All through primary school, there was this little dark green dragon who sat on my shoulder all through the school day and before school I picked him up from the tree where he lived and after school I dropped him off again. I can't remember if he even had a name, but I remember it was a him. He was about hand-sized and he was always nearly falling off my shoulder and hanging on with his claws. Didn't talk, as far as I remember. I had to leave him behind on my last day of primary school, because the route to the high school didn't go past his tree.
I am 12 now and I still have "Imaginary" friends (whom prefer to be called lousetams, whatever that may be.) One is a wolf, Terhne. (Tah-ryn.) The others are humans or witches or magickal people. One or them is me, with the name I'd like to have (Sora). My mother says thats confusing because I have an imaginary friend named Sora and I want to be called Sora. Terra and the rest are there for company and we're aways exploring and looking for things to do... sometimes I have the attention span of a ferrret. People must think me either A.) Mental or B.) phycological when I talk to people in my head etc. etc. ^^

When my Dad and my uncle were boys, there beds were next to each other. One christmas, the tied a piece of fishing to the bottom post of their bed so santa would trip over it and they would prove santa was real...
it wasn't until the heard a crash in the middle of the night and found their dad tangled in the wire, that they thought they'd succeeded.

from the age of about 2 untill i was about 5 i had 2 imaginary friends named shlocksy and shlacksy im not to sure of the spelling but just the other day i found that these are german names.
They both looked identical only 1 was a boy and 1 was a girl they both had bright ginger hair.
I remember my mum had to make spaghetti loops and mashed potatoes for dinner they had their own place at the dinner table. but the funny thing was that when i grew they grew with me. We also used to jump of my sofa into a pretend pool i used to prance around the house for hours in my swimming suit.
I live in belfast and when i was young i grew up in a house with two older brothers i think i had these mates because i was and still am the only girl in the house i now have 2 younger brothers also.
Shloksy and shlaksy were great mates. at the beginning i always had them with me and once i was out and about playing with other children they gradually faded away but i do remember the day they said farewell and dissappeared through a hole in my bedroom wall . then just around three months ago i was feeling a bit lonely everybody was busy and i fell out with my boyfriend i could swear i saw 2 little kiddies exactly like i can remember going through the same place in my bedroom wall as i still live in the same house

My parents told my sister and I that Santa's elves, in addition to making toys, monitored the behavior of kids from the windowsills. Kids couldn't see them, but parents could. One night, I didn't want to go to bed, and I told my Dad to shut up. Dad then gasped and said that I had said shocked the elf watchign from outside so badly that he fell backwards and was now laying motionless in the snow. I was positive I wouldn't be getting anything for Christmas ever again because I'd killed one of Santa's elves.

My friend's brother had made a strange looking staff with a fake deer skull on it for some school project. My friend told me it was the time staff, and if we tapped it on the ground, we could travel through time. We actually went 2 hours back in time, by checking the vcr clock and the kitchen clock before and after using the time staff.

When we were much younger, my sister used to believe that there was a monster living on the stairs and it's plan was to grab her ass and pull her into his evil pit so she used to run, full speed, up the stairs, firmly holding onto her ass, yelling "HOLD YOUR BUM!"...
Everytime for about three years. I must admit, for a while I did take her advice...
