As a three or four year old only child with no friends nearby to talk to, I often spent my time telling my parents about Mr. Ghost. All I can remember about him is that he lived in the snow (I think this was to get them to take me to the snow), and that he ate people. I think I remember telling my dad that he used the snow to whipe the blood off his face. And somehow, I'd become friends with him when he took a vacation from the snow.

A few years later, I decided that I had an imaginary unicorn named Melina. She was the unicorn goddess, and she kept me entertained. I think I managed to convince one or two people that marshmellows were made of unicorns, so they should stop eating them. I'm a fairly normal teenager, it turns out.

I used to believe happened to be when I was in my mid 20's sad to say. Being a city girl has many drawbacks when you end up living in the hills of Tennessee.
When I first married we lived in a mobile home ;ocated wayyy out in the country. On the way home one evening I noticed that all of the tree tops had been cut up and mangled. I asked my then husband what had happened to all of those trees. He replied matter-of-factly that the bush hog had come through. Wrong thing to say to a city girl with no further explanation. All I heard was "bush hog". From then until I finally left the far out country, I lived in fear thinking that there was some kind of giant hog like creature that was eating the tops of the trees! Well, I've learned differently now, but everyone still laughs at me for that one.

At school when we were five our teacher got us to write letters to this alien and he always replied!! It was only years after that I realised that it must've been the teacher replying

I had an imaginary purple cat named Unicorn. But my parents started asking me all the time "where is unicorn? what is unicorn doing?" So I locked it in the shed and told everyone that Unicorn died of starvation.

When I was younger, my parents had me believing in the Easter Bunny. Every Easter my parents would go around the house with flip-flops and flour and leave "bunny footprints" everywhere, including the walls. I really loved believing in the magic!

My older sister had a friend with the last name Bower. My younger sister who was maybe 4 or 5 at the time wanted a friend too, and she didn't have many,so she invented one. She called the friend her "bower" and got great enjoyment out of playing with her much to the delight of the rest of us who got much enjoyment laughing about it. We still do to this day, over 30 years later, ask her about her "bower".

I used to love the TV show "Punky Brewster" and I wanted a dog exactly like Punky's, the golden retreiver. Well, I was at the age where children start developing invisible friends and such. ...Well, my imaginary friend happened to have been a dog named "Brandon". He was exactly like the dog on Punky Brewster, except he was all white and he could talk. He went to preschool with me, slept in the same bed as me, and even ran beside us while we were driving in a car (on the freeway?). Mind you, no one knew this imaginary friend/dog existed except myself. Sooo, one day, my mother was getting ready to sit down on the couch and I started screaming. Crying hysterically, and she was like "WHAT?>!?! WHAT?!?!" and I go, "YOU'RE GONNA SIT ON BRANDON!!!!!!!!" ...she looked at the couch, looked back at me and goes, "Oh, sorry, I didn't see 'Brandon' sitting there......" and she sat down at the other end of the couch. I don't think she has thought I was very "sane" since that day...

When I was little, I was terrified of Santa. One Christmas, I left out a marker and paper for Santa to write on and I had pctures of me to show him how much I had grown. On Christmas morning, I woke up to find the markers and pictures all back in my room. I was terrified of the fact that Santa was in my room and cried all morning.

i used to have an imaginary friend called Alibino...i told everyone he was really fat and couldn't fit in any of the rooms in our house. I think i thought he was my boyfriend...

That wishes (from wishing wells and birthday candles and eyelashes) could be accumulated (like frequent flyer points) and add up to one really powerful wish, but only if you were disciplined enough to be consistent and never tell anyone what you wished for. Throughout my childhood I consistently wished to be Wonder Woman, always hoping that this would be the little wish that tipped the balance.

When I was little I had loads of imaginary friends, but my sister had twins with totally made-up names! They were called Mefron and Tee-tee. When I was a baby I always wanted to play with the remote, but my sister never let me because she wanted her imaginary friends to play with it instead, and would sit there for hours waiting for them to change the channel!!!!!

I was a very lonely little girl when I was 5 years old and lived on Toronto Island at Hanlan's Point. I wished real hard for some new friends, my age, to play with when we all went to the beach, a few hundred yards from our house. An old man came and said here is 2 friends for you to play with. They will grow as you grow. They will stay with you as long as you don't tell anyone their names. Well, I was so happy. I would build things in the sand and they would too. I used to talk to them and my mother would pester me and asked who I was talking with. I finally told mom who they were. Dingus and Tardar. They went away and never came back. My 5 yr. old cousin saw them too. He let me know that after we became age 60. He told me the old man's name was Pookie. True story.

in infant school my friends told me that there was a ghost in the girls toilets . Her name was bloody Mary , and she was there to scare you when you where on the toilet. Also they told me that if you turned all the taps on and shout her name three times that her face would appear in the mirror. From then on i was always to scared to go to the toiltes by myself.

When I younger every st.patricks day we'd go to my grandmas house, and my other 2 cousins went and my aunt would always tell us that if we were bad leprachauns from my grandmas backyard would carry us away into their world. At first we wanted to go with them untill she brought up that they were mean and we would never come back. After that every year we all behaved very well at grandmas.

When I was six or seven, some married friends of my parents came to visit for a few days. While riding in the car, the woman was talking about "The Blob". I listened, terrified by this hideous creature, not realizing it was a movie. That night, I layed in bed screaming in terror that The Blob was going to get me. Suddenly a shadow appeared in the hallway and a man's voice said that he was The Blob and if I didn't shut up and go to sleep, he would eat me. I think I might have passed out from fear. On top of that, I never found out who the shadow was.

When I was 6, my mom took me to Disney World and when we were in the haunted mansion, the ride got stuck while we were in this dark room with hanging musical instruments and a talking head in a crystal ball. We were stuck so long that the head repeated what it was saying at least 3 times.

For about a year after I was convinced that while I slept the head was watching me... waiting to strike.

Back when I was 8 or 9 years old,I used to watch this Anime called Megaman
(or Rockman in Japan).

There were those 2 cute Japanese
Keroppi eyed robots named Eddie and Met.

They had flip-tops that a robotic hand would come out.I used to believe that Eddie and Met would tickle me.I used to say I want Eddie to tickle me!!!!!.

So one day in pottery class I made this Met figure I used to carry around in my old skool Hello Kitty tin box everywhere I went....grandma's house,shopping...i mean everywhere.

So my younger brother used to pretend that Met would tickle me and put the figure on my back and rub it against me.

Eddie and Met were one of my childhood friends I would take everywhere......
and still do even though I'm 20.LOL!.
